If I have believe that I can do, that one is confidence.

When I will say that its very easy, I can do this without believe. That's one is overconfidence.

Confidence: yes I can do it.

Ex: I am feeling confident because I've studied hard for tomorrow's exam!

Overconfidence: surely I can do it.

Ex. I am smart enough to crack tomorrow's exam even if I don't study.

Confidence is a thing when you think you can do that, overconfidence is the thing when you do all wrong.

Difference is just that "over". When there is no ego for achieving and thinking I will and I can do that then it is confidence otherwise over confidence.

Sir.

Confidence is when you have a goal. You work hard for that and believe that. I can do it. But when you do nothing for your goal. And still, believe that. I can do it then this is celled over confidence.
