Confidence is when we feel sure about our actions and make the right decisions.
We believe in our ability to do something and have faith in ourselves.
On the other hand, overconfidence is excessive belief in our abilities, overlooking the fact that we can be wrong too.

Confidence is like belief in your capabilities with backing of proper preparation.
While overconfidence is trying beyond capabilities without enough preparation or overestimating abilities.

Confidence knows its limits and plans.
Overconfidence dismisses them.
Overconfidence dismisses them.

With example I am explaining this.
Suppose we are working with a team, so According to me,
Confidence is yeah surely we can do this (speaking positively & calmly).
Whereas.
Overconfidence is only we can do this no other people can (speaking loudly i.e. in different tone or we can say rudely also).
This emotion given in brackets also matters while answering.

Confidence is considering all the aspects of the task and saying I believe in myself, over confidence is saying what come may I do not care I know that nobody could stop me.

Confidence: I can do the work with my hard work.
Overconfidence: No one can do this I can only do this, but he is not do something for his work, dreaming something.

Confidence means believe in yourself like maybe I do this or I can do this but overconfidence means arrogance like no one can cheat me or no one has an ability to cheat me I can do any work easily.

In Confidence, a person says I can do this work (he says it politely).
But in OVER-CONFIDENCE a person says I can definitely do this work without observing the circumstances.

Confidence means what we boost ourself to do a task and by boosting ourself we will get more confidence.
Confidence will not get from others, it will get from when we keep (re-doing) doing to achieve anything we want.
Overconfidence will get from those who have more talent better than us.
Those who have confidence they do the task in their real life with reality. But those who have overconfidence they will assume in their mind that I will complete this better than others and only I can complete.
Simply, confidence leads to success.
Overconfidence leads to fail.
