Knowing that I know and there's more to what I know is confidence. There's always an open mind attached to a confident being.
Believing that I know everything would be over confident and there's no space for more in a full glass.

Confidence is the thinking to do things which are in the limit of our capability. While overconfidence is the thinking to do things which are beyond our capability.
For example. I can do it because I have practised enough, is confidence.
While I will definitely be able to do it, there is no need of practising anything for it.

Look there is a minor line between the two words confidence and over confidence.
Confidence is when you have faith in achieving something. Confidence is good though. But over confidence is when you start feeling superior to others like only you can do this. This is overconfidence.
