Confidence is believing yourself and try best to prepare for the achievement of a goal.
Over-Confidence is considering yourself only in order to neglect other things totally without even preparing for the goal.

First of all, we should know the origin of confidence is information which has facts, figure, logic's etc.
Confidence: having knowledge, facts, figure, logic on the opinion of a person.
Eg: I will try to play good game and I will try to win the game.
Overconfidence: I will play good game and I will win the game.
Considering that your competitors are not good in game is blunder.

Sir, for me there is a fine difference between confidence and overconfidence as I face it practically in my life. Confidence is accompanied to the belief of an individual where the confidence shows a part of the persons ego and lack of self-evaluation.
As for showing the difference with the help of the statement.
"I am sure that I get this job" shows confidence".
"I am super sure that I get this job" shows some overconfidence.
