Confidence is that something you believe in yourself too, i.e. I can do it in a secure way, not an arrogant way.
While overconfidence is that in the person misjudge our skills, values and opinion simple we can say that " only I can do it " no other people can do it.

Confidence is something which always gives us the strength to do whatever we are going to do just like umbrella don't protect us fully from rain but help us to walk in the rain.
Over confidence is something thinking about ourselves so above and there is only you and you is so best. Although think positive is a bright side but when it says about only me its a negative side. Here confidence is thinking about we can do confidently but over confidence is we can do any thing in anyway and thinking ourselves everything will be right.
