Confidence is something which always gives us the strength to do whatever we are going to do just like umbrella don't protect us fully from rain but help us to walk in the rain.
Over confidence is something thinking about ourselves so above and there is only you and you is so best. Although think positive is a bright side but when it says about only me its a negative side. Because there are many who are much better than us we have to learn from them and those who are backward we have to help them.

Here confidence is thinking about we can do confidently but over confidence is we can do any thing in anyway and thinking ourselves everything will be right.

Suppose I think I can do this work is terms as confidence. If I think I only can do this work in the sense it is definitely overconfidence.
