Confidence: I can do it very well. Other side overconfidence : hoping big without any preparation. This is blind faith that you are the only perfect person.

Confidence is knowing I can do something because I am prepared and capable.
Overconfidence is thinking I can do something even when I am not fully skilled.

According to me, Confidence is when you think you can do a particular job.
Where as Over Confidence is when you think only you can do that particular job.
Where as Over Confidence is when you think only you can do that particular job.

Confidence is a belief on one's ability
Whereas overconfidence is an excess belief.
For ex. Confidence is "i can".
Whereas overconfidence is "only I can".

If I have believe that I can do, that one is confidence.
When I will say that its very easy, I can do this without believe. That's one is overconfidence.

My confidence will keep being connected to my objective but overconfidence will distract me from that. I will diminish my ability being over confidential.
