What is the difference between confidence and over confidence?

Confidence is actuality.

Over confidence is a mirage.

Confidence shows the reality of something over confidence brings more expectations for the thing.

CONFIDENCE - Shows knowledge.

OVER CONFIDENCE - Shows fake attitude.

CONFIDENT PERSON is be like 'I can do' on the other hand OVER CONFIDENT PERSON is be like ' only I can do'.

Confidence means I will do it but over confindence means destroying the work by unbeatable actions.

Confidence means I will do this work confident.

Over confident destroyed our attitude.

Confidence shows knowledge.

Over confidence shows fake attitude.

A confident person is knowledgeable, has a deep understanding, has sharpened his/her skill sets by repeated practice, and is constantly willing to learn. A confident person is also humble, can acknowledge his/her mistakes, and makes it a point to rectify their mistakes and faults. These qualities build trust and make him/her success in life.

Whereas, An overconfident person, on the other hand, is blind to his/her mistakes and faults. He/she cannot accept their shortcomings and assume that they know the best. Hence they stop learning and slowly but surely stop being successful in their chosen path.

Only I will get selected in this interview- Overconfidence.

"I am right" expresses confidence while "I can't be wrong" expresses overconfidence.

Confidence comes from believing that you are doing your best while overconfidence comes from believing that you are the best.

There is a very thin layer between confidence and over confidence. If one thinks that he can do the task and has the ability, it is confidence. But if one thinks that I will be able to do it nothing can stop me and I am the only best that is over confidence.

One should have confidence and not over confidence as it ruins our personality and our relations with our colleagues. Confidence gives us a positive attitude and approach in life which is very important.
