Confidence is nothing but what we have belief and I can do purpose of only for self not for others.
Overconfidence means doubting themselves only without knowing thir strengths & weakness they only think I will do like that.

Confidence means the person has the detailed knowledge of his work, resulting in that he/she performs successfully. On the other hand, overconfident person doesn't have detailed knowledge of their work but still, the person thinks that he can do it which results he/she fails mostly.

Look there is a minor line between the two words confidence and over confidence.
Confidence is when you have faith in achieving something. Confidence is good though. But over confidence is when you start feeling superior to others like only you can do this. This is overconfidence.

Confidence is something that empowers you to do something, while being overconfident might led you to neglect important thing, and you end up making mistakes.
All in all, in my thinking, Confidence says I can do it,
Whereas overconfidence says Only I'm the one who can do this.

According to me, there's a slight difference between confidence and overconfidence. When you think that, ' you can do it', this is confidence and when you think that, 'only you can do it', this is overconfidence. Overconfidence is when you start underestimating other people.
