Tell me about a situation when your work was criticized.

Firstly I will feel happy for that because it's the place where we learn from our mistakes.

There was a time time when my work was criticized in my last job. There was a team of 15-20 agents under my manager's supervision and I was included in the team. We as a team had a target to meet at the end of the month. And my manager used to check every day's data of each agent. One day during the course of checking the datas he found me average while the other agents were doing better than me. This was the time when my work was criticized by my manager. I tool the criticism in positive way. It did not shake my self-confidence. I respected his criticism and kept working more efficiently and at the end of the month I was standing on the top the list.

I was a manager for a restaurant we had a black out and I wasn't able to clean thoroughly. But, that is to be expected.

I will look after any mistake done by me, I will improve & innovate my work for which & solve reason for which my work was get criticized. This would be challenge for me to pursue my duties more effectively.

I read and still remember this quotes until now "when you talks only repeating what you already know but by listening you may learn something new". Therefore, I'm taking the criticized as positive feedback where as human we can't cover all aspects at once so we need a partner, colleagues to stay and share their point of view to close the gap and maximize the result.

I accept my mistake and I pay focus on it and I'll try not to repeat.

I was not displeased that constructive criticism is a positive critic so I always just what was critical to improve myself.

I also insulted many times in front of staff but I never repeat the same mistake again and I learned many things these type of situation. Always think big and focus on your way not other.

First of all, nothing is perfect in this world. So I never expect it from my work also. & About criticising. Everyone is different with their own set of values & beliefs. So criticism should be there. And also taking it positively gives yourself scope for improvement!

I remember when I started to work as a project controller in Tadbir Omran (one of the company from early in my career). I prepared my first monthly report by using MSP. Unfortunately, I should have used P6 and at that moment I did not learn primavera yet. So, once my boss wanted me in the office to give me kind of feedback that please prepare your report by using p6. So, I forced myself very intensively to learn Primavera during less than one month.
