It's not dictatorship which is need of the hour, it is the improvement of current functioning and having our eyes and ears open to the changes around us and pockets closed for the corrupt ones. We are empowered with online grievance portal by the government, a strong media, and few good politicians.

On the other hand dictatorship can not be termed as a solution because we don't know whether it will improve the situation or worsen it, it is only better to improve what we are having in our hands.

In democracy, we are still in control of these selfish leaders. There should be more and more participation of people in decision making, this is what democracy says. But I have never seen any common people participating in decision making.

I would say, a good dictator and the type of dictator who thinks of the country's situation and really want to serve India, then that is 100. Better than this corrupt democracy.

In India, judiciary system is not good. It is very, very slow.

I completely agree with Bharat. We all are the part of world's largest democracy and proud of it because we know the position of dictatorship country. In these countries, there is so much restriction. In our country everyone has rights. In Saudi arabia if you were going to the shopping then you must carry with someone else. And democracy will give, the better living policies. We all are seen the worlds powerful country USA also stand due to democracy not for dictatorship.

Hello everybody,

Democracy is more reliable over Dictatorship, if Dictatorship falls into wrong hands, then we will have our hands tied and will be unable to react to the situation.

I would strongly contradict to what 'We Wake' (6th comment below me) said, imagine what would happen if Dictatorship falls in such hands? It should not be an eradication of a particular community or creed, rather it should be concerned with peacemaking between various communities and creed.

In my opinion dictatorship is efficient but dictatorship is the rule by a single person which means that there is only one point of view for passing the law, amendment to the existing law or any other official matters.

On, the contrary in a democracy each and every decision is made on the basis of through discussion by our representatives which helps to bring in many different point of views, and helps to make a better decision and judgement about a particular issue.

Very nice discussion going on thought I would include some of my ideas also, I think that a dictator although may not sound too good for 21 st century people because of the bad history of the dictators, but this is something very important.

A parliament can't take quick decisions, in parliament the opposition unstabilizes the whole environment sometimes on the other hand a dictator along with his council can take advice's and then finally give a decision.

Thanks.

No, according to my view, India is a democratic country where different races and different caste takes breath in this country, if dictator is exist in that country then the integrity and the sovereignty of the country will hamper and it will lead to a conflict among the people due to allotting of only one leader without people's permission. It may happen that the leader which is nominated may give importance to this people and he may behaving like an hilter.

No need of dictatorship at all, what we need wise leaders, India power is youth. So youth come forward for country, our dream is to be a engineer or doctor but not politician.

If we will change our mindset, instead of blame any system we should start thinking to get in particular one for change it.

If we want to change burning issues of India which is corruption, poverty, bribe, division. We need to take position of leaders not agree for dictatorship.

I don't think India needs a dictator specifically, because to rule a country with massive population, democracy is the best. But the rules and qualification of ruling parties can be changed for the better development.

It is not necessary that an educated person should only come to the politics but the persons who comes forward for politics should be educated for proper political knowledge and can participate in election only if they are qualified.

India needs dictatorship because dictator is the only person to change the law and he will suitable judgement to rapists by sentencing them to death. As you know Rajiv gandhi was assassinated. The court is still thinking to sentence them to death. The court is not able to give proper judgement to a victims who killed the prime minister. Then how can believe the law helps a common man. I am ready to become dictator but I am waiting for opportunity.
