Should national anthem be played in cinema halls?

Well according to my point of view the supreme court has taken a good decision to sing the national anthem before starting of every movie in all cinema halls because as compared to other entertainment programs our Indians show a lot of interest in movies. Generally some of the people in cinema hall in the anxiety of their favourite star movie they behave as they like which will cause a disturbance to others that creates a bad impact on theaters, so when we play national anthem in theaters I hope some of the words in national anthem which tells about our culture and also about our freedom fighters who sacrifice their lives for our freedom will change the mind set of the those people.

Even in this 21st century, there are some places where we can see religious discrimination, untouchability this was caused due to partiality among the people based on their religious matter.

So by improving this rule not only in theatres but also on several other places like colleges, Parliament, occasions, meetings will improve patriotism in people which will become as successful steps to improve unity among people.

Today I'm going to talk about national anthem should/shouldn't be played in cinemas hall.

The national anthem used to be played in cinema halls across India, once upon a time, but the practice faded away.

National anthem must play in cinema hall. Its our duty to stand and respect.

Once you Imagine National Anthem, the most sacred tune is played before the movie with double meaning jokes and vulgar comments Udta punjab, Grand Masti.

I don't believe it should be played before movies in theatres.

Everyone has to know about our India, because we are Indians so we are respect and love our country.

India is a truly democratic country. Then it is out of understanding why SC force citizen to chant national anthem before watching cinema in a theater.

It makes no sense at all. It should be made compulsory in school and colleges but not in a cinema hall.

Learning national anthem is a duty of every Indian.

It should be played in government office and educational institutions and private sectors and it should be played in the morning only not any other time. So, please respect our country like sacred place.

I am Amit Aryan and in my opinion, I think there should be certain steps taken before implementing such rules and regulations.

Article 51 (A) of our constitution says that it is duty of every citizen of India to respect and abide by the cultur, tradition and honour of India. And when we say duty, it implies that it should voluntarily done by every citizen, not should be forced or imposed upon them.

But we can give them a chance to do their duty.

And that's why, I think national anthem must be played in the cinema hall to give citizens a sense of nationality, patriotism in them. But it should also be left to them whether they want to give respect or not. Just like, we get scheduled timing for movie screening, same way timing should be there for national anthem as well like exactly 5 mint. Before screening of the movie. So that, people can adjust according to that, they want to attain national anthem or not. If not, they can come after that scheduled time.

This way, patriotism wouldn't be forced in someone and also those who want such feelings to be evoked on such certain events can also get it in them.

Hello everybody, According to my point of view, I think that national anthem should not be played in cinema hall because cinema hall is a place, where people go for their entertainment. But our national anthem has its own reputation and rules. If people sing the national anthem, they must obey the rules and regulation for singing this, otherwise, it would be insulted. Although our national anthem stands for our patriotism and our unity but there is another formal place to sing this like, 'before starting any educational institute', or 'before starting work in any office' or 'before start any journey in "train" or "airplane", etc. But in cinema hall people are there in a funny or enjoyable mood, they usually do not expect any serious thing there. And another thing is that there play different types of movies in cinema halls, some of them present 'social malpractice' like "Udta Punjab", some contain 'cruelty and brutality' like "Hollow man", some are with many adult or sexual contents like "Grand Masti", "Parched", "Cosmic sex" etc. So before this movies, National anthem playing is just ridiculous thinking. - Thank you.

I totally oppose the national anthem playing inside the cinema halls. Actually, this is a good thing, but it is not a suitable place for playing that and not prove your patriotism inside the cinema halls. Because why we go for cinema halls? Just imagine we just go for enjoying our days with family or some special peoples. At the time these are things happened. What you think about your mind? just think. Obviously, this thinks something like boring the peoples and irritating also. Definitely different countries peoples also came into cinema halls and they do not know about our culture and our patriotism. This is not needed that peoples should know about our culture. At the same time, they don't know during the playing of national anthem they must stand for 2 mins are more. This is not our fault. This is our Indian government fault.

I also prefer playing of the national anthem is very good to think before the starting of offices and courts. Because this is must create the peoples energetic, stress-free, do their work properly, make the peoples truly, freshly start their day and everything.

The national anthem played in a cinema hall is a nowadays more discussing topic because some people don't have an interested to play national anthem in cinema hall because some are not showing respect because of this reason some people not ready to play the national anthem.

In my opinion government order all pvt Ltd and Ltd companies to play national anthem in their premises before starting their work daily because according to my point of view all can listen daily national anthem irrespective of country all my companies employee can give atleast 2 minutes time to show respect to my national song and its mandatory for all people in government upto age of retirement.

Suggestions to the government of India:

According to me you pass order to all people and organisations to give at least 2 minutes time to play national anthem because all play national anthem in 15th August in companies it shows how they show respect because of this company can take it like daily routine for showing strength to another country because some government officials cannot give respect to national anthem.

Playing national anthem in theaters is a decision taken by SC is, of course, a right initiative. This is definitely not imposing the patriotism on anyone. It's our basic duty to do it. In whatever mood we are in the theater, we will come to patriotic mood for that 52 sec which gives us an inner peace and definitely each Indian feels it. It's a way of being right citizen. I didn't mean if we are not singing national anthem we are not being patriotic. But many times we need to salute our great leaders who have given us this freedom at the cost of their lives. I strongly feel this is the best way to salute them.

Theatre are placed where everyone would spend their time with joy. So definitely there are one of the places where people can feel really happy to be with national anthem.

It's not compulsory every time to show your patriotism but needs to think of it seriously in today's world, Where people stop singing national anthem at school level. Definitely, this move gives it results in terms making many people know the importance of our country and the freedom which they are enjoying.

I think that national anthem must be played before the movie in the cinema halls. As per my point of view, we are spending a lot of time in lots of activities but we never feel the need to give our 52 seconds of a day to give respect to our nation. As far as if we will say that it is a place of entertainment and nobody wants to sing national anthem there forcefully then it means that they had sung the national anthem in the schools also forcefully.

The second thing is that if we are not feeling any problem in standing for long for getting popcorns then we must not feel any problem in standing for 52 seconds for singing our national song. As you will say that the senior citizens will face difficulty in standing then it is meaningless as even the physically unable people who do not have legs to stand sings the national anthem, then why not they?

So, according to me, if we are giving excuses for avoiding to stand just some seconds to show the respect towards our country, then we do not have the right to be known as the citizen of India.

There are certain rules and regulations to when and where the National anthem should be played.

Exactly the way there are rules in when and where the National Flag should be hoisted. Playing it whenever and wherever we want is not allowed. Even the prime minister of the country is not greeted with the national anthem before or after his speech, this honour is only for the president and the Governor only. The National anthem can be played when receiving a national flag as honour (by a martyred soldier's kin or parents or wife). People don't know the value of these things. You see National Flag being sold on roadsides. Flags are hoisted on road corners where it is drenched in dust and rain. Many of us don't know that National Flag should not be hoisted after 6 pm. If it rains we need to remove the flag to protect it from getting spoilt.

I strongly oppose National Anthem being played in Cinema halls and after a certain time.

Some people say it is respect for Nation. But by finding these we are actually disrespecting the nation itself.

In my view, national anthem must be played at cinema halls. Not only at the cinema halls but also at the meetings such as the empowering the women which were held in Hyderabad. It shows a great respect which we are giving to our nation. But our topic is national anthem played in cinema halls are not. My answer is yes. We are paying attention nearly 2-3 hrs, for the movie we can't pay attention for 52 sec. Here it is a place where different types people gather together. It shows unity among ourself. We going to feel like its a family we should each and every one. It is the only way we can pay tribute to our soldiers any way we are not going to fight at the border. Just think for a second we are living like that its the grace of theirs. Pay salute to the jawans.

The things are like that at the evening time people come with drunken and ugly looks. Because of them, only this is the things happen MY BEST suggestion to the theatre owner is that should not allow those kinds of people. Make our country to be proud be honest help each other.
