According to my point of view, Hindi should be official language because India is diverse country and every state has their own language but there should be one official language that should be understood by everyone to communicate between different state or within our country. Though English is also important but in some areas no one know English. So there should be one official language to communicate with people in the state in India and Hindi is understand by everyone.

As per my opinion a single language can not be official language for a country like India where multiple languages are being speak. One more factor is that in many states or cities people even understand Hindi. Besides this now days Indian market has emphal numbers of Foreign companies where English is the only language even in many govt offices we use English only. So A single language can not play well.

Hindi should be the official language.

1. The Indian Constitution states that Hindi should be the official language of India. It should be in Devanagari script. Still, many regions are not ready to accept this fact.

2. Though India has 22 languages, Hindi is the most widely spoken amongst all. Hindi is the 5th most widely spoken language in the world.

3. India was previously known as "Hindustan". The word itself implies that India is the land of Hindi speaking people. Hence, it should be the official language of the nation.

4. Even before independence, Hindi was considered to be the official language. Today, English is a global language but it does not mean that we should adopt it. We should try to promote our own identity.

5. Around 75% of the country resides in villages where people are aware of Hindi mostly. It would be tough for these people to accept English as their official language.

Hello.

The Hindi language gives our nation the name of Hindustan. So we should be proud of the Hindi language.

Our Constitution has also declared Hindi as an Official language of India in year 1950.

Hindi is our mother tongue of all Indians. We all respect to our mother tongue. Hindi is easy to learn, speak and understand.

So, According to me, Hindi should be the official language of India.

It's purely politics, But from the bottom of my heart, I would tell one should love his mother tongue, now comes the official language policy. I would tell that has further made us distant in terms of feeling superior or inferior. I fail to understand the mix of blended languages used by a foreign language is Hindi. Does it belong to Any state in my Mother INDIA? then why this? Never you can impose anybody on language, let the need arise, let individuals decide, what is the literacy rate in India as of now?

First, let us make India 100% literacy. , but surely imposing a language in a different state will cause an unhealthy environment, So Hindi should not be made compulsory.

Hello everyone,

According to my thought, official language should be made to that language where each and every person from Kashmir to Kanyakumari will be able to understand and speak as well.

Every language is beautiful just like every festival of India is.

So Hindi should be made official language but that doesn't mean we should ignore other languages because each language plays important role in its own way.

I want to say, language doesn't matter to communicate, how you communicate with others is important, communication can be done by any language, if you are making Hindi is an official language there may be you reducing freedom of peoples.

Thank you.

I think no need of this, but don't make English a standard. I mean don't judge the people from their ability of speak in English.
