Hello Everyone.

This is Yukti Varshney.

I would like to appreciate the dogma of participants.

In my opinion Hindi should be the official language of India, As we know India is Hindustan so Hindi is the identity of India, although India is diversifying countryside, so it is very much difficult to adopt all language, everyone will favour to his state language, it's better to make one nation one language Hindi should be the official language of India. Children are unable to speak write read and understand the Hindi Language which is shameful being Indian. Hindi language must be mandatory in the office so our coming generation must be able to focus on Hindi. People ignore Hindi as it makes their standardized lower which is not true actually. People make their standard by speaking English. Most of the people focus on their state, not the entire country. If we following the same phenomenon for long do very soon India will loose it's identity of Hindi.

I strongly believe It should be an Official language of our proud nation.

Hello everyone.

In my opinion, Hindi should not be an official language in India. Because whenever we see the education system in India day by day people prefer More towards English medium school because they know the importance of English in future when somebody took admission in IIT's and IIM's he carried on his study in English language just I want to say one thing if somebody does his preparation in English and after becoming a public servant it will not easy to him to do his official work in Hindi.

It's also true that in North India The level of Hindi speakers is too much but in the South, we rarely find someone who speaks Hindi.

Indian is the country from there there are so many languages and in the 8th schedule, 22 languages have taken place in the Indian constitution and in India judiciary work always in English.

There are so many study apps who are only in English the reason behind it people like to deal with English.

So to see the interest of people English should be the official language of India.

Indian democracy is the union of states so while expressing this type of points one should know about the constitution and their respective laws laid down by it. INDIAN PEOPLE BELIEVE IN CULTURE AND CIVILISATION SO IT'S NOT POSSIBLE TO DERIVE ONLY ONE LANGUAGE. ACTUALLY, IF WE THINK PRACTICALLY WHY WE PEOPLE GETTING all systems of western type.

What's about culture people and their traditional thoughts why matters this interrupting ideas and expressions of people. The rural population is more than urban and. Who are illiterate what about them. Is there any government classes conducting for illiterate people to teach them English. If all people talk in English all people lives in cities then who live in villages Hill areas to maintain agriculture then who works in factories then who sales street marketing products. OFFICIALS DOESN'T NEED ANY KNOWLEDGE BECAUSE THEY ALREADY GETTING PROPER EDUCATION AND LIFE SO HINDI MUST OUR HOME LANGUAGE BECAUSE OF THIS TASTE AND HAPPINESS AND WAY OF EXPRESSIONS.

According to my personal opinion, Hindi should not be the official language of India. It has already been declared as our national language. And a lot of controversies has arisen because of this. Let's not make anymore controversy by making it the official language. Because in office correspondence English being global language and being taught in school, colleges. Everybody understands it. For Hindi being the official language. It has to be taught in school, colleges first. Why do that when already we are doing well with English. And has moreover advantages that good for foreign communication also being a global language. Diversity is our culture but by the English language, we get integrated nationally and internationally. Nationally Hindi is being promoted in films and by watching films these days I think everybody these days can speak Hindi. So there should not be discrimination and differences of north and south and only English should be the official language.

Hello everyone,

This is Vishal.

In my opinion "No" if it happened then definitely this topic will be changed into big issue for politics. And we well know the Indian Politics.

I told "NO" because of my personal experience when you enter the south region no one speaks Hindi they don't read or write because they prefer local (Telugu, Tamil, Kannada) language. Even the government of Tamilnadu has not added the Hindi subject in syllabus.

Then how to think the official page should be in Hindi. If it happened then the government of south will not agree.

Yeah, it may be but first of all, we know the importance of Hindi, Hindi is our National language & Gandhi Ji also said that "dusre bhasa ka bidyarthi hona/bolna bura nhi h, parantu apna basha sarwapari h".

So before going to set as an official language first of all the Indians peoples and government should be added the manadortry subject of Hindi in syllabus.

Thanks.

Hi! Friends,

Myself Rachana.

First of all, I want to explain the 'OFFICIAL LANGUAGE ' the official language is that language which is used by the citizens as well as the government officially.

I don't agree with the point that Hindi should be the official language of India because,

1. India is a country which consists of many different cultures and it respects all the cultures equally.

2. Hindi is mainly spoken by major parts of our country but it is not used in the whole country.

3. India is the country of diversity. It contains different cultures, caste, tribes and also language. If Hindi is made the official language of India, then it will affect the diversity of India.

4. Hindi should not be the national language of India as a study has an important role in the life of every child and all the higher studies are done in English. So, it will create a huge obstacle in the studies of the students.

Thank you.

Hello myself, Kartik Chouhan.

Hindi is our mother tongue language because I belong to north India but still, I cannot impose the same for all my brother from another part of the country where they belong to south India. It is not that easy for a person to be linguistic-based on common assumptions. It is good for them to respect Hindi but learn based on their interest in staying in their comfort zone but not necessarily to impose Hindi on them. For example, is it necessary for a Brahman to learn all vedic Puran? just because he belongs to the same community. The answer is NO. He should respect but learn according to his suitability. So, to mug up with the very same problem English became a common ground for all of the Indians to communicate not only nationwide but internationally which is the extra plus point because all I can say this is a language which is being taught since childhood to all of us past of decades.

Hindi should be the official language.

1. The Indian Constitution states that Hindi should be the official language of India. It should be in Devanagari script. Still, many regions are not ready to accept this fact.

2. Though India has 22 languages, Hindi is the most widely spoken amongst all. Hindi is the 5th most widely spoken language in the world.

3. India was previously known as "Hindustan". The word itself implies that India is the land of Hindi speaking people. Hence, it should be the official language of the nation.

4. Even before independence, Hindi was considered to be the official language. Today, English is a global language but it does not mean that we should adopt it. We should try to promote our own identity.

5. Around 75% of the country resides in villages where people are aware of Hindi mostly. It would be tough for these people to accept English as their official language.

Hindi should not be the official language of India because India has many diverse countries. India has a different culture and different languages. Generally, Southside Indians do not know Hindi to much even in northeast India they also do not know Hindi. If you speak only Hindi language and you have to work in south side India so you will face many problems. You will not communicate with other people.

In my opinion, English should be the official language of India. Because in today's India every youth knows a little bit of English even they can speak English of the short form. Yeah, I know, my opinion will hurt many peoples. But English will be our future. English is required in every field such as job, sport, school, travel, etc.

English also has negative points.

Older people can't understand English and it is difficult to understand for older women.

It is also difficult for village people.

India is the country of diversity. Diversity doesn't need to be only in religion cast or region but can also in language. If Hindi is made the national language then I mean that all official papers, notices and also all government tests will be in Hindi only. But then this means that we are neglecting all other languages all the other regions. India is a sensitive country. If we don't respect the customs of other then it can cause riots in the country on the basis of language. This happened in the past also due to the same reason. Many of my friends said that countries like the USA are more developed because they have only one national language. I want to just remind them that they don't have many language speakers. But in India, we have not one but many languages. So instead of making only Hindi or English our national language, we should make all our main languages as a national language.
