For me Hindi is our mother tongue language because I belong to north India but still I cannot impose the same for all my brother from another part of the country where they belong to south India. It is not that easy for a person to be linguistic based on common assumptions. It is good for them to respect Hindi but learn based on their interest staying in their comfort zone but not necessarily to impose Hindi on them. For an example is it necessary for a Brahman to learn all vedic puran? just because he belong to the same community. The answer is NO. He should respect but learn according to his suitability. So to mug up with the very same problem English became a common ground for all of the Indians to communicate not only nationwide but internationally which is the extra plus point because all I can say this is a language which is being taught since childhood to all of us past of decades.

You can't simply stick to a single language where there are multiple languages in a country like India. Language is something which is used to convey our thoughts, both the speaker and listener should be in the same state when they try to share their thoughts. But most of us in the south don't know Hindi and we are not even ready to learn it. I don't think so Hindi is more superior than other languages.

I think India's national language shouldn't be Hindi because in parts of India people don't speak Hindi. So I personally think english should be the official language India. But I also think every Indian should know our mother-tongue Hindi.

No, as we all know each and every state of our nation has a unique language and pride associated with it and imposing a single language would go against the spirit of our nation and this in no way is demeaning hindi which is also a culturally rich and largely spoken language. Diversity is our strength and it must be kept intact.

Hello! Everyone.

About: Should Hindi is an official language?

According to me, That the people who belongs from the south. They will be want to speak HINDI because the cultural effects.

So, I am from SIKAR (Rajasthan). It is the Shekhawati region. As you know that the language of there is MARWADI. Approximately few families in our city will speak Hindi.

So, we discuss our topic.

As you all know that, In whole INDIA all the citizens speak Hindi because our India is Subcontinent which is different from physically, geographically, and culturally that's why they can't understand Hindi clearly. But approx all the Indian can understand English clearly.

So, According to me, English should be the official language of India.

Thank you! & have a good day.

No, according to me English is important for the development of the country if we go to foreign countries like China, USA then we need English for conversation.

We need English to express our ideas.

So, according to me, Hindi should not be our official language.

Thanks.

According to my view, English should be the official language of India because nowadays all the official work, interviews, are based on English language there is no use of Hindi and English medium school are also increasing in number in the comparison of Hindi medium school it is true that Hindi realise India's rich history or culture but if we talk about development it is important than culture so many peoples are saying that Hindi is easy to understand and speak, this is the basic problem of Indians that they don't want to try something hard in their life they want everything easy for them the last but not the least English should be the official language of India.

Thanks.

Hi, myself Ritu yogi.

Yes, Hindi should be our official language because India is the only country of Hindu religion as we go in any foreign country for any kind of assembly related to religion so if English will our official language so there will be no specific identity of us. So we should proud our mother tongue Hindi. Thanks.
