Let's get into the facts now Hindi speaking states in India are Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh (10 out of 29) I think majorly people who are supporting Hindi as NL should be belonging to these states and they are right from their point of view because it's convenient for them but what have you thought about people belonging from states like Karnataka, Tamilnadu, Kerala, Andhra, Telangana, North Eastern states if you observe they don't understand even alphabets of Hindi. By imposing them Hindi as NL don't you feel we are doing injustice to all these states or is it the price they have to pay for being part of the union of India who's administration is getting controlled by city namely Delhi which is again part of Hindi spoken region of the nation. If you have the right to preserve your language then why others don't have it this can't happen in democratic nation n if it going to happen then you are going destroy other 21 languages for the sake of Hindi and language is not just medium of talking it has culture, values, identity if all Hindi speaking states would be pressurised to talk in Tamil or any other Indian language what will happen to mother tongue skill (viz Hindi) I think its common sense thing put you into others shoes first. If you can't-do it you should not force it on others. And those who have the perception that all Indians understand should clear their facts by visiting non-Hindi states and go to a rural region as well not just cities then only they will realize by imposing Hindi on them how miserable life they can have because of you. And in the constitution, every individual has right to protect their language article 29. If we don't follow it we are going against the constitution.

Hello, friends.

In my opinion, English should be the official language Because English is the common language. Anyone who speaks English they look like an educated person.

In present time Every parent wants to their children doing a study in English medium. Why, because English is the most important nowadays.

I think Hindi should not be official language because if Hindi will be made official language people will not care about English language and we know that very well English is more important nowadays.

Hi friends.

In my point of view, there is no need to make Hindi as an official language because in our country the numbers people in different states speaking different languages. If we make hindi as official language in leads to conflict between people. Since we have a common language (English) it certainly enough for the people in India for their conversation out of their State. At the same time there is no restrictions to learn hindi. Because hindi helps one to survive in North India.

Suppose I know only one language, so in order to go other part of the country or state of the country. I have to learn English, and English is a language which we have to learn by giving money to school or institution because every government schools teaches in their own language. I think one who. Who doesn't know how to talk in English, suppose to stay in their respective state. There is no link language, today I am in other part of country, here auto driver or grocerer know their own language, and I have to spend my whole life for this central government job. How would I survive. I feel crying and I cried. What to do. In my own country I feel like foreigner. So government should take initiative to teach each and every Indian to learn either in Hindi or English to be mandatory. I think it should be Hindi because form this we known to be Hindustani. Let learn as link language. So we can move to any part of India happily and make India World strongest economy. People make good economy of any country Not English language. For learning English whole nation have to learn but for Hindi at least half nation required. After learning language give money as reward.

I do not agree with the statement that Hindi should be official language of India as most of the people in India do not speak Hindi there are many other languages also who different people speak in different regions of India. AND for those who are saying that Hindi should be official language for protecting our culture and our heritage they should first go and find out more information because as far as my knowledge in India people firstly use to speak Sanskrit and many books like RAMAYAN MAHABHARAT were written in Sanskrit. So I think all languages should be given equal importance.

In my opinion, Hindi should be our official language because that's we are Hindustani. We people blindly following the language of some other country. Like all other country we should also give respect to our language.

I believe India is the mixture of different cultures. In India there are different religions peoples are living. Language is just a way to communicate with other people and that man should understand what he wants to speak. We can't force to those who don't know the Hindi language. Most of the peoples knew the Hindi language but nowadays, English is much important for the job or to maintain foreign relations.

First of all, I would like to clear the topic i.e., should Hindi be our official language or not, friends, making Hindi official language doesn't mean that people can't speak other languages, of course, they can speak other languages too, but they should know Hindi as well.

As far as my opinion, is concerned, Hindi should be made our official language:-.

Language is not only a way of communication rather a key to making the sense of unity. A common language makes a united sense in the whole country. People in their own country are not understanding others language, why to give example to go to foreign countries. What a unity is this, we are Indian but are not understanding the words of Indians from different corners of our country. There should be a common language so that people of our country can understand others feeling where ever they go, there is no need to give an example of going to other countries to understand language.

And our national language is Hindi, so why not the whole country should know Hindi. We are just insulting our Constitution by not knowing our national language.

All the developed countries have their own common language when they deal with other countries why don't they use other countries' language, they use their own language, so why not we use our own language, why we use their language to talk to them (English language).

Friends, our ancestors have sacrificed their life for uniting the country and we are fighting here for language. Hindustan is from Hindi, yes it's true that learning Hindi in southern states is tougher, it will take time but not more than the time taken by our ancestors to free our country from Britishers. Yes, it will hamper the efficiency of people but it will come to the level in less than 200 years for which we were ruled by the English people.

It's not only we should talk about comfort, nationality is also a word.

Hello everyone,

According to my thought, official language should be made to that language where each and every person from Kashmir to Kanyakumari will be able to understand and speak as well.

Every language is beautiful in its own way just like every festival of India is. So Hindi should me made official language but that doesn't mean we should ignore other languages because every language plays important role in its own way.
