There is a inner meaning of that "rules are to break". But we should know that where should it be. Misuse of rules are also harmful for us. No One should break it for his own benefit. Our young generations have got it in a wrong way.

They don't even know that he is playing with himself while breaking rules because rule are made for his benefit. They get a wrong image in mind of persons who sees him while breaking rules. And its better to wait then get a wrong image. And rules should be broken when its benefitable for public or a needy person keeping aside his own selfishness.

Hi all.

This is Sandhya Jha.

I totally disagree to this point, because I personally feel that we must follow every rule because rule is made should be followed not broken, but sometimes I think rule should broken also, because I have seen especially in cast of Muslims they haven't idea what should do because, for them it's prohibited no one give a company of Muslims, only they think that it's not my culture and rule also, but I think those work for me to bad so I think it's must be broken of everybody, that's why friend it's my personal perception, thanks.

Rules are meant to be broken is not true but when there is need to change the rule then we must do it.

Rules are made by keeping in mind that it will help in accomplishing the work in proper manner. But we know as time changes, new technologies evolved, new ways of handling problems are made rather than using old ones.

So, we should follow the rules but instead of breaking them find that why you are going to break them. May be that rule is not necessary nowdays to follow then replace the rule with new one which can be followed according to new generation.

Rules are not meant to be broken as by definition they are regulations to be maintained by authority.

This famous quote Douglas McArthur is simply a hoax. If rules were meant to be broken they would be guidelines. Rules are to be followed strictly. And, if the follow he given a quote then there will be no order as everyone will be able to do as the please. The will be chaos and the whole system of governance might as well fall apart. It is agreeable that in certain life and death situations rules can be broken, but is the case only for certain situations?

Hello, Everyone.

I think rules are made by our ancestors from their experiences so, rules are almost for our goodwill, we should follow the rules, some of the rules are not understandable to us we don't know the fact behind the rules, and we don't have that much time to know the fact behind each and every rule. So instead of breaking rules, we should try to follow it. I would like to say one thing also that if there is a situation comes where you have to break rules, before breaking rules thinks twice about result whether it is good for all or not.

Yes. Rules are made to be broken. First we have to know that rules are made for us. If we are not feeling comfortable in that rule we can break it. One example is that before freedom British government has made some rules also. If we always used to follow those rules, then we can't think about the freedom that we got in 1947.

Our freedom fighter had broken those rules and that is why we are living in freedom. Like salt law was broken by Mahatma Gandhi like that we have so many examples. So we have to determine which rule is beneficial for us.

Rules are not meant to be broken. If rules are meant to be broken then there would be an other name for rules i.e. guidelines. Rules are made for the safety of a person. If you consider traffic rules if you do not follow traffic rules then your life is at risk. Even in schools or colleges, we go to school by 9 clocks because this is one of the rules. What if we break this? Then no student will follow discipline in his life because sometimes we get habituated to the things we learn in the school. So rules are not meant to be broken.

Thank you.

Hellow my friends.

Well,I strongly believe that Rules are nothing but the systems related to our convenience. Every rule must have a valid reason or reasons behind it to follow. For instance, if an ambulance carrying a serious patient who needs immediate treatment, stops in a traffic point due to red signal, he could have died. So, there is no doubt that the traffic rule should be broken. According to me, in some situations some rules are meant to be broken, better than stick with it blindly. Because sometimes it can bring some good changes.

Rules are made to be broken it depends on the reason for your change if it is useful for you you have to go for it don't think too much go for it always favour right changes which help you to bring colours in your life and do it as a fun never bother about others always accept new things which is not harmful for you because sometimes these things help you to move forward in life but learn a lot from your wrong changes which you have made earlier and try to remove these changes and bring up new changes to your life which will make you a man.

I don't think so why because of some rule are need to be broken for some time and some are need to be broken for life time some rules are to maintained. Following examples will explain in detail.

FOR EXAMPLES 1: TRAFFIC SIGNALS - if you are in emergency then you should break the rules rather stick with rules blindly because you are going to save the life of someone.

EXAMPLES 2: Rules should be broken for the creation of new rules like SATI DAHA which was for hindu but now replaced THE RULE.

EXAMPLES 3: Smoking in public is punishable.
