Employees are the assets of the organisation. Since the attrition rate is high, organisation must understand the various causes for this problem. When Cadbury conducted a survey last year, it was found that around 65% of the employees working in the organisations are not satisfied with the quality of work. When employees feel that something beneficial can be obtained from the organisation for their efforts, they feel self of belonging and their commitment to the work also increases. Thus quality of work is another important reason along with the training and development, compensation provided, motivation level etc. If it can be solved, then retention of employees is also possible.

Nowadays employees are considered as an asset of the company. The company organises many events and benefit programmes to provide job satisfaction for the employees by the HR team. The main objective of these programmes and events are to retain their employees. The organisation has so much concerned about Hard working and focused employees and also about their productivity. They don't want to lose that type of employees because it effects on productivity. In today's era, the organisation has the ability to retain its employees by providing various benefits and services and it is very necessary in today's competitive environment.

Here so many peoples are talks about retention policy. But I would like to say that if we have seen on the financial side like salary or compensation or any other financial benefit when an employer provides monetary benefits to his employee it's temporary satisfaction on part of employee. Because after some time other company or employer provide only 1000/2000 more then he gets that will change his job. Or leave our organisation. So I think financial policy does not work properly.

So we have to focus on other policy who provide him/her job satisfaction.

Thank you.

You know, Employees are valuable assets of the organization. The company should take care of employees and they should slso retain them properly. The company should think about welfare of the employees. They should satsfy their basic needs and aso their job security. They should develop their career of an individual in the organization. They should motivate the employees. So, in this way the company can retain efficient employees in the organization. Due to these, the empoyee's effiiciency and productivity will enhance which will benefit for the organization.

I do agree with retention of employee is necessary because if he/she has already given his precious time to company, then company has to think about them.

Organization has to think are they satisfy with their work?

Are they working in their comfortable zone?

Are they happy with compensation?

Do they have growth after spending 3 years with the organization.

If employee is not under this Umbrella the organization has to commit them for all above things. If organization is ready to fulfill their commitment then their is no problem for Retention.

Thank You.

Hi friends.

I think retention should be on the basis of a person performance means if a person is doing good for company that he/she should be retain but if he is not working according to his ability he/she should not be in company. Their should not be any kind of policy in a company.

Selection should be basis on the ability of a person not on the basis of employees basis phenomena. One who has ability to lead from front should be in company. So I think Retention of employees is not good. Guys what you think.

As we all know customer retention is very important for any organisation but we should not forget the employee retention. Employees are the one responsible for the position any company has acquired by time. Their hard-work and loyalty have benefited them as well as the organisation. So, company should give more attention towards the employee satisfaction.

Moreover, if company lose their current employee, then they have trained the new employee. Thus, affecting the company financially.

Thank you.

Retention of employee come through there working environment and their management. Being a employee I can understand about breathing space in our regular life often we need change and that will play a vital role in employee sustainability which is only provided by employer.

Now a days employer need 1:10 ratio of result. They focus only on achievement part not effort putting by employees.

They should keep focusing in both part target and their achievement with employee sustainability.

Retention of employee is very much important for any organisation. Because whenever a company hair any employee then they expected lot from them that's why they are giving training and try their best to built them. But sometimes employee do not satisfy with the organisation and then they decide to live it. So in that case the organisation facing lose of money as well as time and if the employee are doing well or doing good for the organisation then it will become a great lose.

Hi Guys,

I would like to say my views, I agree with you all who says that employee retention policy is really good those who worked hard and contributes for the company growth. When we are checking with employee biodata with previous achievements, if it really good then he should deserver for it. Due to some obstacle or family prolbem or who knows its peer problem, due to some reason he/she might have quit, so we need to re-consider to hire him/her again to the organization.
