Hello Everyone.
India is a country with great diversity in all aspects which include religion also. If we mix religion with politics then in a country like India which have numerous religions then Politics will also be get divided on the basis of religion as what it is happening in case of caste and community" POLITICS AND PEOPLE ARE THE SOUL OF THE COUNTRY".
In some areas of the country people WOULD elect/vote their representative on the basis of caste which results in division of social community.
PARTITION OF INDIA AND CREATION OF PAKISTAN is the best example of mixing politics with religion. If any of my words hurt any individual's feeling then I would like to apologies so sorry.

I agree with the statement, religions should not mix with the politics. We choose a politician for nation development, not for the developing the religion or cast. There are many religions approximately 1000 religions made by Indian country. "The leader born from people, not from the religion". Who politician coming from the religion, that politician embers playing with other religion people. "Don't sell vote for money", please choose one best leader and vote for him. Don't see the caste feeling, when you choose the leader for our nation development. If you see the caste feeling in the politics, The India never develop, only because of you. Thank you.

In our country, peoples of different religion live together in a society. Political parties should not prefer any religion in making any decision. If they do so, it may lead to violence among the peoples of different religions. As a developing country, there should not be any discrimination between different religions. Political leaders should treat a religion as small, they should always make a decision in favour of all religions.

Hi,
According to me, I believe that religion is something that helps you or guides you towards the path of eternal peace and serenity.
We live in a country like India should be thankful to its religious diversity.
According to me, every religion in this world focuses on one thing that is life is a give and take relationship. The way you behave with others is the same that you should expect from others.
Politics in India nowadays have started using religion as one of their manifestations.
Which is not at all good for the future of this country cause it acts as a barrier towards the growth of intellectuality in oneself.
The leading political figures of our country should not indulge the religious sentiments in politics in order satisfy one's greed rather they should focus in inculcating the values highlighted by the religions into their day to day life in order to achieve success, this will not only help them side by side it will also make this country a good place to live in.
Thanks!

If there is no religion in politics then people will raise their voice why unemployment, price of oil increases day by day. Means people will conscious about their rights but if there is religion in politics only few people will raise their voice against such issue, leaders can easily ignore their voice just by marking them as a enemy of religion.

In my point of view, it is true that the religion shouldn't mix with politics if they do so, they try to divide us for just their own profit. Leaders like that just serve for money, not for nation. Citizen must aware for this to prevent Nation's Development.

Politics should be played, but not to divide the people as per their religion and basically those are the two different things, one should not mix those for their personal benefit in the election And everyone should believe humanity is the only religion.

NO, I don't support this statement. Religion and Politics are one hell of a combination. Used properly it leads to the betterment of our country. I'm putting forward this statement because,
1. No religion in the world is against humanity.
2. No religion asks people to kill others to achieve something bigger.
3. It's the work of the religious heads that misinterpreted the essence of a religion.
Given a leader who is well-versed in his religion (whatever it may be), who is strong-minded, who can't be manipulated/misguided, our nation will become superpower within few years.

Hello, everyone. Religion and Politics may be considered as two different banks of a river which can't meet. But, we people always try to mix both. Religion is one which separates us from one another in term of the belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power, especially a personal God or Goddess.
Religion and politics are two extremists that cannot be put together, otherwise, it would devastate the unity, peace, and harmony in our only secular nation of the world.
As far religion is concerned, it should not be mixed with politics because politics is meant for all people of nation or state, we cannot give priority to an individual cast or majority, politicians should be those people who take the decisions and reforms not looking to a single group of people of sate or nation.
Thank you so much!

Being a part of a secular country every citizen has the right to follow which ever religion that one likes and living in a democratic country like India we find ourselves in politics.
In today's world both religion and politics need to change.
Religious and political leaders need to be both spiritual and righteous to the uplift and to flourish the society.
