God, why is even there a fight for following this culture or that. Cultures can never be enforced on someone, we are born with the culture of our respective country. And woah! Who verbalizes that Indian culture is decaying? I'm not at all on board for this. If I wear a denim and carry a leather bag with me then sure, may be I don't fall under the category of Indian women but my heart never concurs with it because I still dote my country and it's culture.

My makeups, my dresses never take away from me my etiquette and deference for my country. Instead I'm an Indian girl with different posture.

Hi guys I am Shreya.

Guys you all know once Nehru wrote a letter to his mother and he mostly wrote on 'BABU' which means cheater cock that comes form the word baboon which Britishers gave us (Indians). Baboon is an animal which copies really very quickly. I am not saying that stop wearing the western style dresses but at least not finish your culture completely. Please its a request!

I don't feel that our culture is decaying. Yes, it is changing but for good. People now have their own choice, they are able to do things which we were not able to do before. The doping of Indian culture with western our European culture in a good manner is not at all bad. Now, we are free and still Indian. The culture is not decaying us it is just bringing a few changes that our leading us to the top. We are now on the top posts of the world only because we are able to interact that we didn't use to do earlier. This change which is present in all of us is just because of the few changes that came because of western culture. Women are on top because we changed the thinking that women are just good as housewives only.

I'm not insulting our culture but just acknowledging that the changes that came in our culture are good and are not decaying but making it more beautiful. That is why India is the fastest growing country in the world.

Thank you.

I think the humans are adopted only those stuff that they found easy to them. In 90 centuries we Indians are having many of our good cultures like that, yoga, wearing kurta, payjama, saaries, respect our elders by touch elders feet and some having bad cultures like that early age marriage, dowry system, doing pee in open, equality in society, caste system etc. Our Indian culture is like our treasure and we don't throughout by adopting western culture but now in 20 centuries we are educated people and educated people are smart they adopt only what they find right for the people and society. So we adopt some of their western cultures like maintaining good quality of life, improve in dresses, bridge the gap between two sex, eating pizza and burger etc and I don't think so that our culture is decaying. Because we try to put ourselves in better than the earlier lifestyle. But at end of the day, we humans could not adopt some good cultures like time punctuation, cleanliness, innovation, work complete before deadlines etc that is more needed in now in these days.

Thank you.

Hi friends,

Little bit, I am telling about Indian cultural VS Western culture. The both cultural are good, but I thinking about India, India not provided such kind of knowledge as well as facilities to the people, school, colleges, but in the western culture, they provide some type of knowledge, facilities according to the school and colleges, so my opinion is the main part is knowledge and the various facilities, that also provides to the Indian people, schools and colleges. As compared to western culture.

Thank you.

Hello friends.

Indian culture is decaying. In my opinion all countries are confronting each other in every perspective and of course India is one of them, to compete in professional world, we are forced to learn english language. "Language is carrier of a culture". Every company hire an employee with good speaking ability (English). To create such an environment we start watching English tv series, movies and ultimately our dressing, eating, lifestyle get changed.

But we have culture ingrained within our soul. It can't be changed. We have a good culture of respecting elders. It won't be changed by just changing our outfits.

Thanks.

I believe that our culture is not decaying, though we are heading towards modernisation but there are certain things in our country that has not changed and probably won't change in future, one of which is unity and attachment with family, selflessness in relations, which is not seen in other countries.

Modernisation is just a mindset, because in this phase of globalisation we are forced to adopt or copy the english style so as to be accepted around the world and that is the reason why foreign people are also copying Indian way of dressing and learning basic hindi language. This proves that the exchange of culture is both sided, so I think that its not that our culture is decaying its just that we are acceptable to multiple cultures which is surely a positive thing.

Friends, culture can't decay. Our lifestyles are decaying by mixing of different cultures. Our traditional culture was designed as per our environment by experts in such a way that it protects us in many different ways. For example Indian, organic food is the best food for great health. Indian cotton clothing was the best for our Indian climate. Families used to live together. All were entrepreneurs and were together in all good and bad times. People were studying in gurukul and were taught about values on respecting elders and loving youngers. Worship the powers, protect environment etc. But now children study engineering, work in software, stay away from parents, parents suffer without children, many people suffer from lifestyle diseases, excess pesticide in food. All these are the side effects of the wrong culture in wrong place. Who has to correct this? We have to correct this, we have to protect our environment, we should do organic farming, we have to teach our children about values in life. If we fail to do so we will have to face the consequences. Friends wake up soon before everything is spoiled.

No, I don't think so why because of our culture is the very strong and immersed in the people. No one can destroy that in case of any such things happened we have to make campaigns so that they know our greatness of our culture. Every one of us has the responsibility to respect and protect our culture. But some other cultures are coming and destroying our culture so we should be careful.

Despite India has diversity of religions, cultures, and languages, India is the set example of a peaceful nation how to live with bonhomie.

Due to special features of India many country are keen interested to know India from inside. So they comes India and impresses by our cultures and dress. And also they try to turn himself in Indian culture. If we are world famous for our cultures. Why we need to accept western culture?
