Hi this is Keerthi.
According to my opinion in this present system girls are equal to boys in all aspects. As India is a Democratic country, and shows equality between boys and girls so I think there is no requirement of special reservations for girls.

We all know that women and men are equally capable of doing a work. Girls have topped in many exams this it self prove their capabilities. So they don't require a quota for them what they need is equal opportunities.
If they are given equal opportunities they will automatically grab their worth reasons why they are not getting equal opportunities are.
1) Narrow minded society: Some people think that females are only made for doing household work. So even though government Is providing scholarship for education of women then also they are allowing their girl child to get education.
Instead of focusing on quota we should focus on launching awareness programme promote education for all. Women should also know their rights and shouldn't allow any one exploit them.

What I think is that yes, we should treat both the gender equality, there shouldn't any quota for girls and even for boys. We all have the same capability to achieve what we want in our life if we are having good education for that.
But we have to take it under consideration that in our country, many poor people are there who are having daughter and they are not capable to educate them, but it might be same for a boy whose parents are not financially strong to make him educated.
Poverty doesn't look at gender.
For the welfare of our society, if our government is capable to provide some kind of reservation, then this reservation should be given to the poor families of our country.
And reservation is also not given according to the religion, if such a citizen is capable to earn his bread and butter, then there is no need to give him reservation. Same as for women.
And also I want to add one point that a girl must be educated because when she is going to have a baby, she is only the person in the world who he's responsible for his/her thinking, and it is needed for our society to have well educated mind for your future.
GOD bless.

So far in the political and social history of India quotas have not proved to be of much help. Take quota or reservation system, it was added in the constitution with a very noble idea to elate the position of the backward classes but right now only affluent people are getting benefited by them in a way that if a person don't have money to buy the form on the first place then how could he get benefited from the reservation anyways!
And women in our society need not have any quotas. When we are talking of equality then it should be for all. We have to change our approach i.e. in our system what's being done to create balance in an unbalanced situation is by creating imbalance somewhere else and then hoping that it would create "overall balance" in the long run.
Today giving quota to women would lead to state of unrest among men and it will put a question on quality selection of men and women. Empowerment can be done apart from the quota method as follows :
1. Women themselves should be aware of the rights. (human rights- the most fundamental thing).
2. They should be educated.
3. Overall society should be educated.
4. They should realize they need not take quota when the top most exam of the country is topped by 4 girls in a row!

Hi, I am Sudhakar, I am going to speak in favour the topic.
Yes, we require a quota bill for women empowerment,
Especially in India, women are still struggling to get basic rights in India. They are getting humiliated in many ways. There are many woman quotas already exist in India, still women are not getting equality in the society. There is the necessity to implement an effective women quota bill to give them equality and for their serviceability.
Women are working equality to men, still we are underestimating them, women are not getting jobs everywhere as men, just because they are women. In poor families, most of the girls not getting the basic education system, government to should come forward to implement a strong quota for women to give them equality and make them educated.

Women quota bill is not necessary in now days. Women equally work like men in city areas. There is no any problem in empowerment there is only issue on their security thing. If government provide a healthy and secure internment rather than women quota bill they can work more comfortably.
But in rural areas situation is different by a little bit government gives a lot of reservation like reserved seat in academic, election etc, but the situation is still same so government should focus firstly on women education so that they can understand their right. We should provide open environment for them.
Thank you.

Empowerment means to give official authority to someone. So, I believe that reservation is not a correct way to empower the women of our society because now a days women are competing men equally in each and every field. Giving reservation to women means we are ignoring their talent. Reservation should only for the minorities and women in our are country are not the minorities.
I think that if we have to empower the women of our society than we have to work in the field of safety for them than automatically it will empower the women. And the last thing is that we the people of our country have to give equal opportunities in the field of education as we give to men because women also play a major role on the development of our country.

Hi friends.
I'm against women quota because today's world is no difference between male and female. In one term we tell women and male are equal and second term we made the women quota and make the difference between male and female.
There is no requirement of women quota. But requirement of women safety in today's women. Because today's is not free for female. They risk froth like rape kidnapped, murder, thieves etc.
So no requirement of women quota. But requirement of women safety.

Hi there!
Women have been facing lots of discrimination. Though we all say that men and women are equal in all terms, yet we unknowingly show discrimination. For Eg: If a girl wants to become a pilot, she is pressurized by many people, including the family members, not to become a pilot, because she has to be a women later, has to marry, has to give birth, and then take care of her family and home. It is clearly seen that women discrimination is still happening. The people are still not agreeing with this thing. For women empowerment, women quota bill is necessary and should be imposed.

Hi everyone!
According to me, before deciding to implement this bill, we need to ensure few things because merely passing bills and making new women empowerment laws won't help in our democracy which has a patriarchal mindset.
First, every educated woman should be made aware about this bill. Awareness is really necessary so that women know what are the different policies and acts available for their betterment.
Second, the system needs to provide a conducive and safe environment for their unhindered and unrestricted growth. Unfortunately, we need to do a lot of improvement here.
Third, there should be no gender biasing for salary entitlement.
Fourth, our constitution guarantees right to equality (even in case of job opportunities). There should not be any gender discrimination for hiring professionals in any sector, be it government or private. Equal opportunities and competition should be there for everyone, irrespective of gender.
Fifth, talent and capability should be the sole criteria for any recruitment.
Sixth, educate more and more women.
Last, do away with the stereotypes hindering the progress of the fairer sex.
If this bill turns into law, would augment in women empowerment.
Thanks and regards.
