Managerial skills learnt in the classroom can never match those learnt from experience

Well i totally agree to this point as Jayabaskar said that when you have to face the world you cant just speak out the stuff you have learnt in the class. There are different conditions in real life. What we learn in the classroom is the reel life but in the real life we need experience to face these challenges. And skill comes with experience.

In my opinion, both are the vital role in becoming a good manager. In the Classroom, we learnt about the theoretical part of how business works and how to make it efficient. And in real life, we get practical exposure to this field. Yeah, I agree we get more exposure and get new skills during our experience which help to growth in our life.

Managerial can be learn only by experience because in classroom you only learn theory. And in company's you require much experience, leadership quality, knowledge, intraction with the people or how to handle the situation, that can only be learn by when you will go into field and if you will not get experience you will mugged up everything.

In my opinion classroom teaches how and when to apply managerial theory in the real world.

Well, theory is a part of the classroom and experience can only be achieved by applying and experimenting on those theories in real workplace, hence both are essential for making a better decision in the workplace while facing any issues.

But as per the current strategy of the class room program, they are just theoretical and less practical. So we can just understand virtually what managerial skill are. We practically understand only when we face the world and have our own experience. So I think its experience which teaches more regarding the real situation.

In my opinion, it's incorrect to assume that theoretical knowledge gained in the classroom can't be applied in the field. I believe that theoretical foundations guide a student's thinking in a specific direction, and it's the student's responsibility to build upon that foundation through practical experience.

I am a manager with no college education. I am 50 and have been in management for about 12 years. Over the years I have learnt a wealth of information through the daily experience. I have also witnessed very poor decisions made by very inexperienced managers with a full college degrees. Experience is key.

Experiance is the better teacher than the teacher in the classroom. Most of the things which we learn in the classroom is used to score marks in the examinations only. It is just like mugging up and vomitting and we omit to apply in practice. The live eperience alone is used more often to lead our lives.

No I am not agree with it. In class room you only learn skills or tactics theoretically. But with experience you can learn how to implement tactics those learnt in class room. So without experience you will not able to use that skills effectively. Without practical knowledge theoretical seems handicap.

Hi friends, I know that managerial skills learnt from the classroom can never ever match the skills we learnt from experience. And this is one of the reason, even in schools and colleges we have practicals which will be a lot easier. And sometimes these practicals helps us to understand those theories.
