Hi I would be so happy to start a conversation on the topic "Managerial skills learnt in the classroom can never match those learnt from experience"

It is a true statement since what ever you study in the class room they are only theoretical when the time comes to face the world it would be so different. Only experience can show you the real world.

I would say that managerial skills could be developed only if one tries to tackle the situation effectively where ever one is and what ever the situation is. This could be learn t even in class or at any place, experience would however betters ones performance or skill.

But we cannot say that the class room managerial skills would dominate the real world experiences.

Experiance is the better teacher than the teacher in the classroom. Most of the things which we learn in the classroom is used to score marks in the examinations only. It is just like mugging up and vomitting and we omit to apply in practice. The live eperience alone is used more often to lead our lives.

According to me,"experience is the best way to achieve the target because whatever studying in the class rooms those are just for understanding not for in practical way. but experience is the assets for the knowledge.

Managerial skills only learn on experience. What ever we learn in the classroom that is useful to our classroom but not useful in other places. Experience to gain knowledge.

It's very true my friends that "Managerial skills learnt in the classroom can never match those learnt from experience", but never forget that for practical experience we need some theoretical background that can be gain only in classroom.

You can compare to person one who had some background knowledge with him will learn more fast than the one who is deprived of it. So I believe that experience sharpens your knowledge and give shine to it but classroom knowledge is equally important.

Yes I agree with you Ranu. Unless a kid is taught how to walk on the floor, how can he climb the steps. So classroom learning is very essential before one is exposed to the real world situations. Through this, one can get to know a lot about what decisions are to be made at different situations.

It only depends on what way the student takes them.

But as per the current strategy of the class room program, they are just theoretical and less practical. So we can just understand virtually what managerial skill are. We practically understand only when we face the world and have our own experience. So I think its experience which teaches more regarding the real situation.

If we don't have knowledge of theory we can't do practicals. Firstly Managerial skills is necessary. At least little bit knowledge of Managerial skills so that we can convert into experience.

Good evening to one and all, we know that 'EXPERIENCE IS THE BEST TEACHER'. In this fast growing technology we do see many successful people, all of them are not educated. It is only the way they grow for example the founder of dosa plaza merely do not possess any great educational background but he is a very successful businessman. He is not a management graduate his skills and zeal made him successful and with that experience alone he has been teaching several management graduates in a reputed institute.

I do say that it is only the person's zeal and hard work brings him success but not degrees.
