Patent in India should be judged accordingly by the Government. For ex- If Patent rights of a very important medicine is given away to any MNC then it won't be fruitful as the MNC will indulge itself in profit maximization and in country like India, where 40% population is in the chains of poverty, there will be no one but just 5% people who would afford its cost.

I agree that patented is good but there is a limit for eg. Some innovation of medicine if he is patented then according his mind he will increase the price to pharma company ultimately the price of the treatment also increase. So those who is poor will be effected in that thing government want to take decision to takle this problem, for eg. Adalaphline for acne.

On reading the above discussion, I would like to put forward the fact that patenting is very good for India but with a restriction of patenting act on matters like medicine, social eta for e.g. If a patented medical comp. Fails to complete the demand of user, the price will go high as well as people won't get the treatment and would have to rely on substitutes.

Patent bill will promote entrepreneurship which is the need of densely populated and developing country like India, but certain provisions should be made to avoid any kind of monopoly which might lead to black marketing. Some rules can be made like some some share of profit to be given to its entrepreneur by others producing the same stuff. This will help both.

Yes definitely it is good for India because it gives security to the investors and more research for others. Without a patent an idea may get replicated and hence there is reputation of a particular product and which hinders the development of new products. With patent more no. Of research is carried out hence the result is more no. Of differentiated products.

Hi,

In my opinion patents are necessary to have the copyrights of the product which we have developed on our own. So it reduces unauthorized acess or misuse of it. Therefore patent are necessary. Because day by day in India if new inventions take place in order to preserve them or to protect them from illegal access patents are necessary.

I agree with all my friends ,they all have shown the positive side of patient bill.A persone must get the benifits for his had work and dedications, but human greeds are endless .Its the nature of human to grab as much as they can when they see a bank vault open. But whats the use of invention if only few people can use there inventions.

Agree.

1. Patent is a way to give justice to the inventor by giving him credit.
2. Fame encourages invention & helps inventor monetarily.
3. Patent also ensures quality.

This agree.

1. Patent makes product costly under MNC not always but it does.
2. As it is expensive it restrict its flow and usage. Not available to everyone.

I too think bill in necessary for India. Person work hard to invent something, he should get reward of it's invention. If day after invention other uses his idea, inventor would definitely think why he did hard-work as other getting its benefit. This will discourage feeling of inventing something which is definitely good for India.

As far as my knowledge patents bills in India has become a mandatory, beacuse people would be recognized by their innovations, government should give people a chance to prove their talent and come up with new innovations. Its like boosting their confidence and energy levels and people could be motivated by these patent bills.
