Patent rights should be provided to the people on the knowledge they had discovered. The main problem in India is most of them got sticked to foreign culture and forgot our Indian culture. Due to this mismatch among a particular product i.e, the way they pack and cost factors if the same product has been given by some other countries it has a special craze in using that. Last but not the least once you are interested in buying a product enquire your well wishers because they know much more information because they follow the actual SCIENCE.

Patent bill is a controversial issue in my view. If we see the medical field where hefty amounts are being charged in the name of patent for as long as 20 years, the necessary drugs are getting out of reach of poor people.

When asked who owned the patent for the polio vaccine, Jonas Salk answered, "There is no patent. Could you patent the sun?".

If vaccines for polio or pneumonia can be like that why not others.

While patent has its advantages as well as mentioned by many of the people above, I just wanted to be into light its dark side.

Hi friends, according to me patents bill is good for India as I know we any researcher produces his research paper for development than credit must be given to the that researcher so there comes a great confident in all researcher to do the research in all area. By which our country growth is on high rate. Its another benefits is on commercialization area. If company products patent bill is totally related to company and there is no any type of tax than it sold to the consumer at lesser price. So these are area where patent bill is good.

Greeting to everyone,

First of all, the Patent bill is the authority to inventors for their innovation for some period of time. No one can replicate it with any permission. So, the patent bill is good for India. Nowadays, more and more people try to do something different. In tht case, parent bill provide security of innovation to particular person as well as it encourages people to do more research. So, that during patent period they can earn more money by creating difference among competitors as well as selling patent in the market.

India is land of many rare plant and animal species which are endemic to Indian soil. Not only this we Indians hve many traditional knowledge's in our old vedas and puranas. Either it may be the medicinal use of TULSI or turmeric, plastic surgery of great shushurata or recent basmti rice issue. If we don't have patent then our traditional knowledge will be used by some foreign MNCs to their profit without asking its real owner. SO patent is must to conserve and maintain our endemic resources from its commercial use.

Hello all. I'm Chiranjib.

According to me, the patent bill is important for India because 1st of all India is a rapidly growing country. There are many researchers, innovators in our country. They should be encouraged so that they can do their work and others also be motivated by them. And this will also be very growthful for the country. Patent bill can protect their inventions from doing fraud also. Original work always be rewardable. So I think the patent bill is very much important in our country.

Thank you.

Patent bill is certainly good for India because it is a developing country needs to increase the number of researches and developments. This bill will certainly ensure security of the innovations of various institutions and research centers thereby encouraging more number of researches. As such India is well behind in R&D sector spending less than 1% of its GDP in it. So if the number of researches will be more then the govt will be bound to spend more and this will change our R&D scenario completely.

I strongly believe that the patent bill is good for India.

By patenting your work you are actually protecting your invention and your ideas. Patents promote people to invent and come up with new discoveries. It is a way to prevent people from stealing your work and claiming it to be theirs. You would also get the right amount of credit and money for the hard work you have put in to making your invention.

Patents definitely give your work recognition and would also be an encouragement to people.

Patent bill is not only good but a very important tool for technical and biological development of a country. Talking about India Its people don't have enough exposure to the technology. Some hidden hidden talents remain hidden because of less sources available to them. Moreover they have to earn bread and butter for their livelihood too. So, Indian government should also some patents to help such people. But use of chemicals is contaminating our resources so there should be strict laws for that.
