Patents bill is Good in India. India is also having many knowledge and creative mind people. If the idea is from a particular person means he should get his share, whomever uses his idea. its not that somebody uses this persons idea and keep making money. Anybody can do a work if they know what they have to do and make money. Important thing here is first they should know what they have to do. this comes from the thinking ability which is an intellectual property which must get its value.

India is a developing country. When we talk about patents is vital in India the real owner must get out of the full benefit of his product and it is like an award for the owner, for 20 years he can make use of patent rights without his permission nobody can receive. It is vital to the developing country. To a common man initial invest may be little more too expensive, but it is advantageous for him to use his own patent right and he can earn maximum profit without any violation.

I think most of the time the inventor don't have capability in terms of finance or business knowledge even though his invention is fabulous and can prove a boon for society so patent and involvement of mnc will help the invention in reaching the masses.

India is known for 'Jugaad' & brilliant mind which leads to development of new thing (we call it invention). So patent will prove good for India and Indian people. To control its disadvantage proper monitoring is required.

Positives:

1. Safety against illegal and unauthorized use of a technology, an idea or a natural resource.

2. Source of inspiration, motivation and pride to the inventors to keep on doing the good work besides encouraging young innovators and others in R&D.

Negatives:

1. Should not be done of FMCGs and things which influence our society.

2. Patent of natural resources should be given with restrictions.

3. It leads to increase in production costs in most of the cases.

I also think that patent rights are good for India because India is on the path of development and for development new inventions are required. And definitely people would love to invent anything if their talent is recognized by others and some benefits are given to them for their work.So government should take necessary actions to help those people who are indulge in inventions. This step can also prove helpful in development of poor people of country.

Patent is one, that is needed for each and every country. Its helps to increase motivation of the people by giving the benefits for what they have patented. He can be recognized and if he is interested, then he can sell the patent to others and can earn profit for a particular period of time.

No one other than he cannot produce the same product and market it.

I think for a developing country like India, it is essential for encouraging and motivating other talent.

Hmmm. After such a long discussion the conclusion can be drawn as:.

Patenting will prove to be good for our country as:

1) The inventor will get recognition for his/her work.

2) Patenting only certain items is beneficial for the economy.

3) A forum for people who cannot make their invention recognised should be created.

4) Awareness about the patents need to be created as most of the people in our country are not aware of what patenting actually mean?

Hi every one, I have seen the all above discussions every one wrote well apart from this I will add some more points in a different way. Yes I too agree with you patent bill is necessary in India to know the ability of a person who manufactures a particular product and he must has all rights on the product. Then only every one will try to innovate new things thereby our country grows very rapidly to reach the hights like japan then we can rule the world.

Patent bill is good for developing country but not good for poor country because developing country has many talent people through hire. But poor country can not hire talent people. It increase the product price and waste many time. It discourage the poor country. Such as a ex- a Indian poor talent student can not shown fully talent because he don't study in good college but he has a talent person. So he have to do work without machinery and low price.

Hello, Everyone!

In my point of view, Patent bill is good for not only India but for every country as it is doing justice for the inventors. But this patent bill should not become an extra burden to common man.

The inventor will have a recognition and right over his product. So, this inspires them and also many people to invent something useful. According to law of patents invention to the owner of the patent for a limited period, generally 20 years.
