I am not against the paperproof office.

Buy I have a dilemma like,

Will we remain in the same era without adopting the new technology?

Will we not make our office work more efficiently and work friendly?

Will we not save our environment?

This dilemma is solved as follows.

Every paper costs four rupees and if any drafting is there we are wasting paper.

The paper comes from tree thus by making office without paper will make us eco-friendly.

Speedy action and the process will increase.

We will make our office towards e-literacy.

Though security concern will be there but making security layer tightened and tier basis we can be made it difficult.

Thus, I support paperless office.

According to me, the paperless office should be there but it has both negative and positive sides. At one side, it will be developed and technology will enhance with more use as the world is changing into the digital world and it will help in saving more trees and data can be stored more safe and secure with passwords etc. At one time papers will start damaged so I think there should be a paperless office but still some of them not believe in this because yes at one side they have the fear of storing data from being digital and sometimes manual work is more effective because sometimes internet connections or network may stop your work.

So from my point of view, if you have to change your brick office into click office then you should totally upgrade and confidential towards technology more use of technology will help in more effective work.

According to me paper less office is not reality. Following are my viewe to reduce paper usages.

1. Before taking print out it should be checked (print preview) to avoid paper usage.

2. Personal documents should not be taken in office.

3. Every employee should have limit to take print out for each day.

Well, today "global warming" is the issue that is very much talked about. Deforestation being one of the major reasons for it. Looking at the recent scenario, government all over the globe have started trying hard to "save paper" and thus "save environment" and "save trees" through various campaigns.

So imagining a paperless office can be a reality to a great extent. The companies can try not to use paper as much as possible and try and use computers to store data. Retrieving of data from a computer also takes hardly some seconds as compared to paper where all the files are need to be gone through to find one important data.

Thus offices can take up a step of going paperless as much as possible which will make office work easy, save time and also save paper and thus save environment to great extent.

Answer to this question is Yes. In my opinion paperless office is not the one where paper is not used at all, it refers to office where continous attempts are made to avoid use of paper or recycling of paper. Hard copy of the all the valuable docs are must for their validation as well as for record keeping. Relying upon computers may lead to destruction of data that can't be retrieve at all and that me lead to huge loss to users in terms of their efforts, time & energy. We should make efforts to maximise the use of soft copies of the data. As the time passes we all will get accustomed to it and that will finally result in "Paperless Office".

Indian railways says you can show your ticket in mobile a big example of the e-world we are moving into. The answer to the question asked is yes. For someone who has been working in the IT world for the past two years I can say that this dream has been realized from digital signatures, to online appraisals yes we are moving closer to this reality.

Of Course in this era of Information Technology we people are dreaming paperless offices.

Searching and carrying this paper stuff everywhere is quite hectic. Even though today most of the work we do is online in Government offices, educational institutions we can't move an inch without paper.

This idea sounds very cool but it definitely gonna take some finite time to come in existence. Clerical staff in every organization must computer literate and aware about internet use. This will certainly relieve the people from carrying the burden of documents for like centuries.

The paperless office is a reality. But it is not possible to apply in large parameters like Industries, Institution and Any govt bodies. Because many times documents is necessary only in paper. Like properties Documents and many other things. So I think paperless office initiative is good. It will help to curb pollution in Environment. But I think Govt should make completely apply paperless initiative and make Awareness program about those who are not much aware of this.
