Hello Friends.
In my opinion, e-vehicles are important to reduce co2 and it's very beneficial to our environment. At present, fuel costs are increasing day by day that's why it's also good for our financial savings. And if we compare, e-vehicles to engine vehicles it has lower prices and also lower maintenance cost.
In the future, E-vehicles will be upgraded and come with many features and also less price.
So we should understand the benefits of E-vehicle for the environment and for us and use it.

India is in preparation stage of Electric vehicles. Significant research is going on in India regarding Electric Vehicle. Many automobile companies such as Mahindra, and Tata have launched EV cars and trucks as well. But we are still completely not ready because of the lack of EV infrastructure. We need more charging. Nothing significant has been done in this regard. Another thing is storing electrical energy is a very tough challenge. Research is going on but nothing much has come out yet.

Hi, In my point of view, "India is not ready for EVs. ".
India is an agricultural country. Here, 70% of people depend on farming. The Indian government is developing EVs, but some rural areas still do not get enough electricity. In my point of view, the government should first fulfil this requirement.
Also, EV batteries contain toxic chemicals such as lithium, and nickel, so improper disposal of EV batteries leads to soil and water pollution. These issues affect plant growth and farming.

Hi everyone, I have read most of the opinion suggesting that India is not ready for EV because it requires large time to charge and more space for charging stations. But the EV has more advantages that overcome its disadvantages. Yes, it will take time to fully convert to EV but initiative must be required not all over the country but in heritage sites and metro cities. It will come as a start to reduce pollution and other environmental impacts of fossile fuel based vehicles.
Thank you.
Thank you.

Greetings of the day.
I'm Saniya. today's GD topic is "Is India ready for Electric vehicles".
What I think for the current situation India is starting to develop a culture for Electric vehicles know the government providing charging stations to all cities currently in metro cities like Mumbai, Pune, etc have EV charging stations but in villages is not there for that some time is required, so I feel India start developing a culture for electric vehicles and soon India is ready for it.

India is definitely ready for EV. Apart from the mobility point EVs also has possibilities of Automation and driverless cars which is less possible with Traditional Petroleum cars. EV cars have less energy wastage due to fewer energy conversions.
They have less pollution impact on the environment.
And the future is heading towards solar power so sooner or later we will rely on EVs and this is the best time when companies like TATA, AUDI, and HYUNDAI are bringing hybrid and EV cars.

Hello everyone.
In my point of view, India is not completely ready for EV. In India we have a large population, so we need more electric energy. And we don't have sufficient electric charging infrastructure. Companies like Tata and Mahendra have launched EV vehicles, but still, people are not ready to buy EV vehicles they are choosing petrol and diesel vehicles because of their affordable prices. Therefore, first, we have to overcome these stages and then we can take the NextStep.

Hello! I think India is now ready for Electric Vehicle. Our government is spending a lot of research on how to expand EV market. The infrastructure of India is now at a higher peak. Many highways have been developing in the last 10 years. Also, the Indian government is focusing on charging station availability. In FAME-2 government is providing different schemes to increase the market of EVs.
The government has to focus more on the development of infrastructure in every city.

Good morning to all!
As we all know electric vehicle is good for the environment and eco-friendly.
It also does not produce any greenhouse gases, such as carbon monoxide. However, the lack of infrastructure for charging stations in India makes travelling longer distances challenging.
Sometimes due to the climatic conditions change it will produce fire accidents and create a very harmful situation.
So in my point of view, it is safe for the world but unsafe for the human.

Greetings to everyone,
We are here to discuss Is India ready for EVs or not? So, in my point of view, India is not ready for EVs currently but will be in the very future as Our country is growing in solar power systems very fast. And it will come with many job opportunities for the young generation.
Conventional energy sources are running out day by day and polluting the atmosphere as well. It's time to find a path for innovation in future that supports nature. Thank you.
