From my point of view, India is still not ready for EV vehicles because in India energy and electricity consumption is a very big concern because still there are various villages where electricity isn't available sufficiently whereas if we want to make a charging station for e vehicles is very inappropriate as well as making or planting of that much electric vehicles charging station may lead to very high cost. So maybe India will be ready within the next 3-5 years for electric vehicles if India focuses on power generation from renewable resources.

In my opinion, definitely yes as most of the vehicles produce a bad effect on our environment and sound effect as well.

I completely agree with the fact that they are a little expensive than the other vehicle but as there are many companies like Suzuki, Mahindra are working in it to give us a vehicle at a reasonable rate.

Benefits:

1. Eco freindly.
2. Fuel is cheap compare to petrol, diesel, cng.
3. No sound pollution.
& in future, it must to have that kind of vehicle as it saves a lot of thing from ourself as well as from the environment.

Good evening everyone.

My name is Baidya,

As the given discussion topic is " Is India ready for E-vehicles or not".

In my point of view, India is not completely ready for E vehicle due to the following reasons-.

1. Lack of charging stations.
2. High cost of the vehicle as compared to per capita income of Indian citizens.
3. Lack of confidence and required skill among drivers.
4. Lack of Garage for repairs.
So, overall I would like to conclude that There is a great infrastructure that needs to be developed to adopt the E vehicle.

Thanks.

Good Afternoon all. I'm Debasish.

Today I'm going to keep my consent about whether India is ready for Electric vehicles or not.

In my opinion, it's Yes. Because Nowadays, India is a developing country and India is eligible for accepting new technologies. Due to petrol and diesel vehicles, pollution levels are increasing continuously in India. To overcome this problem, Electric Vehicle is a good choice. E-Vehicles don't need any fuel because it'll be managed by a lithium battery.

So, finally from the side yes for this case.

Thank you.

Hello everyone,

Today we are discussing India ready for Electric Vehicles.

Firstly, India is ready for the electric vehicles. Many of car is launched in India.

As there is no infrastructure (charging centre, EV vehicle maintenance centre etc) in India for EVs it is one of major reason. EVs are not considered good for long distances as they require charging of 5to 6hours after every 200 km drive.

The EV car is moving on road.

Lastly, I want to said that India is ready EV. So in future many of Electric vehicles is developed that.

I would like to add to the point that he said that the basic needs of rural areas should be fulfilled first, before adopting new-age technologies like EVs which according to me should not be the case. The government should surely invest a huge chunk of money in the lower sector of society but at the same time, we also have to invest in the growth of India so that we don't fall behind others. As we know there is a prediction that fossil fuels will be over by 2050 and we have to be ready with alternatives before the calamities hit us.

Hello, everyone.

According to my opinion, electric vehicles are good for our environment. By using EVs we can reduce global warming and make our country free from pollution. But there are some challenges that we have to overcome to enforce the use of electric vehicles. One of the major challenge is to make awareness among people about the use of EVs. Make more electric station among different cities.

I want to end my discussion by saying that we have to create awareness among people and make India ready for electric vehicles.

Yes, India is ready for electric vehicles, because people are slowly switching towards electric vehicles and electric vehicles are very good for the environment. The electric vehicle companies are also switched to the very best development of the battery and all as well as they increase the power efficiency that can run the less time and cover the distance as well and they're developing the HEV.

The government also planning to run the electric vehicles as well as possible. They also do the advertisement and awareness as well.

I think India is not ready for EVs. EV takes 8hr of charging depending upon the model. As our population is high, there are not enough charging points (infrastructure) to charge our EVs on top of that it takes more time (conventional vehicles take 2-3 min of refueling). We can install charging points for our cars in our parking area but it will cost more money and not everyone has their parking.

As our technology is developing, charging time will be less in the coming times. At that time India may be ready for EVs.

Hi all;

In my point view, electric vehicles are very useful for today's life and also good for our environment because that does not create air pollution but electric vehicle's cost is very high so when people don't have more money they can't buy the vehicles. That is only the appointment of electric vehicles price and also sometimes electric vehicles could be not safe because suddenly burn to fire electric vehicles. I say electric vehicles are safe for our world but not safe for humans in some time.

Thank you.
