Being a high ranked officer in INDIAN ARMY is a matter of proud not only for your country but also for your family, society and everyone. An army officer is also a human being who spend his life but with dignity, passion and power. An army man is an organ of country. He gets crores of wishes from all over the country everyday. A simple person despite being a high ranked employer can't afford the benefits as an INDIAN ARMY personnel. Such type of persons are developed in all respects. At last I would like to say that "Don't read success story because failure story provides you the path for success". An INDIAN ARMY left no stone unturned for his selection in high ranked officer.

Dear friends indeed the words Indian Army is very good in listening though many peoples don't know that if you are getting any comfort then what is the reason behind it. You can't imagine how the life of a Army person goes? it is terrific Peoples are very selfish don't think that I am blaming to all but I want to tell that nobody is going to help the Army person if he is in trouble. I can give you an example if you are travelling by train in knight and you got the berth reserved and if Any army men is travelling in that coach and asks you for a small space to sit then it is obvious that you will deny because he is burden for you and you may not be thinking that in what way and in what circumstances he had got the train. He only thinks that if my fate is full of trouble and destiny is written with the pen of grief then how other's may be helping. In short many Army person doesn't get their ticket confirmed but they go thinking that if I have not slept for 233 knights then let one knight get also added.

The things that can attract a usual person who is still deciding his career path are:
1. Adventure- Life can be exciting and thrilling if you like living on the edge and a basic mundane 9-5 job doesn't cater to your aspirations!
2. Respect- The pride/honor in serving your nation and getting due attention/credit for the same is unquestionable.
3. Quality of life- A disciplined satisfying job with work life balance training you physically and keeping you healthy.
Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma i.e. living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of others drown out your own inner voice. Above all have the courage to follow your heart and intuition, they deep down already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.

I'd say, that earlier I didn't have much idea about the Indian Army, but after getting in a relationship with my boyfriend who is currently a Captain in the Indian Army, I got to know a lot about it and trust me, it's a job for people who are really passionate for their country and are brave hearts. Every time I think of him, I just feel very proud.
Many people say that you don't have as much money as compared to typical Corporate jobs, but trust me, the respect, facilities and love of crores of people an Army Officer receives, you can never imagine in any other profession at this early age, no matter even if you are some topper from some top class B-School and earning in lakhs.
As an Army officer, you need to be very brave, smart, hard working, passionate about what you do and sacrifice a lot. People choose this career not for money, but because of their passion and love for their country and to protect the countrymen.
This profession makes you a real Gentleman and grooms you to be one of the best of the lot. You can easily distinguish an Army Officer from the rest of the crowd. As they are the most well mannered and disciplined. Need not mention the etiquette they possess is class apart. Which not even Managers from top B-Schools possess. They are very smart and full of life. The best thing about getting into this profession is that you'll be a "self-made" person and you'll always feel proud of yourself for this achievement.
It obviously is not an easy task to serve the Army, as you face a lot of challenges. Some people think that the officers are kind of rude, but trust me, they are really the most loving, adoring and responsible men and it takes a lot when you have to leave your loved ones to go for a field postings or special task. But then, they do it for their country and being associated with them, swells one with pride. And once you get adapted to the Army life, you won't enjoy the Civil life anymore.
So if you are really thinking to join this profession, then don't think twice and just go for it without giving a second thought and make your Country and family proud. All the best :).

Indian army is definitely a career option! It is opted by not wise but mad people, mad for country, mad in the sense, ready to even take or sacrifice own life. Making other professions as your career is common and most of them which are chosen generally, help you make money, lead a well settled life And lastly and also partly Serve the nation. But army makes you serve the country first, and also give you other benefits that other careers give you, and even gives even more-a defined Status in the society.
As we are born in this country it is our duty to serve it well and as army is giving us that wonderful opportunity, then why not choose it as a career?
If you are taking back because you may die serving in army, then let me tell you, either way you are gonna die so, then why not for a reason, the reason of serving your motherland, doing your duty towards it.

Nothing can be better than serving for your motherland I accept that every profession shall give me that opportunity to serve your nation in some or the other way but choosing army over corporate has many reason out of which prime reason is making my country proud of me, making myself proud and earning the respect with work I do and not with money I have.

It is a better career option, even though I am a technical student I know that working in some multi national company and grabbing many dollars won't satisfy your life. Money is not a matter satisfaction is most important. Whenever I heard the word INDIAN ARMY I will get inspire. If 1000 people live safely its good to sacrifice our single life. JAI HIND.

According to me there is a career as well as your feelings to serve your country. Because at one time when you are serving your motherland at that time you are earning also. So I think its good because it is human nature that when money adds in any work, people do there work with more responsibilities. Because the people who are standing on border they also have the family so they have to earn for there family. And if you are earning with serving thats well and good.
