Today I want to share my opinion with you people on the topic given as "Impact of Technology on Jobs".
Well, We all know that we are living a life full of colorful and useful technologies, leading us to live this "Digital" life.
Now, a coin has it's two sides and as usual, Technology is no exception to this.
The good sides may be shown as,
1. Technology helps us to reduce the work-stress both to the client and the service provider, doing things in a well programmed automatic way is far easier than doing it manually.
2. Usage of Technology on Jobs increases the Job opportunity, I want to demonstrate this by giving an example, Suppose, One-day Government decides to digitalize all the Banks, i.e. everything should be done by self-service of the user. Then, given this condition, there must be a large number of such digital bank installation throughout the country, if there is even one attendant per bank, the total required number of attendants should be larger than that prevailing now. Hence, usage of technology in a job can be seen as an increased job opportunity.
3. Simple and easy to use guidance steps for a first time user.
But, everything comes up with some cons,
1. Technology leads us to follow binary concepts, ie. Either the work will be done or not. A mere change in the network connection will ensure to make everything go in vain, though proper guidelines and making people more technology favourable.
2. Making everything so much tech-oriented won't help the common people, they may find difficulty using these.
Though, by comparing the pros and cons I personally can say that the pros easily overcome the cons. So, I want to conclude my speech by saying that there is a positive effect of using technology in jobs.
Thank You.

With the growing demand, it is the need of the hour to introduce new technologies. When technology develops the very first thought which comes to our mind is how it will affect our life in terms of health and wealth. It is always seen, when discussed a technology we focus more of job loss. But is it really true? Let me cite some of the examples, with the introduction of wired and wireless communication although left many postman unemployed we forget the number of call centres which came up giving employment to many youngsters.
With the introduction of Ola and Uber, many auto rickshaw drivers were unemployed but the same technology gave employment to the same drivers at higher pay increasing their living standard.
A technology come in the market and remain in the market only when it is advantageous to the people. Definitely, technology has taken jobs from a few sectors but the same technology has provided job to more number of people in other sectors.
When we talk about the concept of driverless cars which will potentially create unemployment for the drivers we should also think about its success on road. Driverless cars on Indian road or in any other developing country won't be popular because of high fare. In developed countries, its impact on employment and unemployment is almost the same. So with the impact of technology, its success should also be taken care.
At last, again need of the hour is to introduce new technologies to grow business and generate employment, its not the technology creating unemployment, its the unawareness to use technology to its best. Technology do take jobs from a few sectors but the same technology provided job to more number of people in other sectors.

Hello everyone.
I want to say about AI or technology and its impacts are as:
I think AI Cannot be replaced by humans and our creative ability gives us the strength to create robots etc.
As humans can feel emotions which will impact our decisions so AI cannot do these things as it does not impact on jobs.
AS in some jobs, AI is replacing humans but we are more satisfied with humans.
For example, I purchase a product from a robot and if there is any defect then I don't think the robot gives the chance me to replace it so in these types of jobs technology doesn't replace humans.
For example: engineers, counsellors and lawyers.
Yes, but some positive points are also there as :.
It does not completely replace all jobs.
Technology creation are incapable of reasoning and making decisions does not mean that they will be the same in coming future.
In some jobs AI already replaced jobs eg: factories and workshops ie. In the packing industry people used to manually do the labour but today it has been replaced by machines.
Computers are better at analyzing and computing which gives full accuracy of results.
Militaries already started using robots which prove to be deadlier than humans as they are capable of destruction at a larger level without the causalities that come with war.
So slowly but surely AIs are replacing and taking over professions. And this will only grow. Soon there will be machines running on more advanced algorithms. And they will be capable of doing tasks, that are currently considered impossible for them. Thus it will not be a far-fetched idea that robots will at some point take over and completely replace human intelligence.

Hello everyone,
Impact of technology can cause short-term job losses is widely accepted. The view that it can lead to lasting increases in unemployment has long been controversial. There are so many debates on technological unemployment. The debate can be broadly divided into optimists and pessimists. Optimists agree that innovation may be disruptive to jobs in the short term, yet hold that various compensation effects ensure there is never a long-term negative impact on jobs, whereas pessimists claim that at least in some circumstances, new technologies can lead to a lasting decline in the total number of workers in employment.
Adoption of technology, global reach and faster communication has overhauled manufacturing, servicing, product delivery and also employment associated with these sectors. But, this is not the first time the world has experienced significant shifts in employment due to new technology. History states that technology has been a creator of jobs and has augmented new avenues.
Top 5 most automated countries in the world (2017) :
1) South Korea - Unemployment rate 3.6%.
2) Singapore - Unemployment rate 2%.
3) Germany - Unemployment rate 3.4%.
4) Japan - Unemployment rate 2.4%.
5) United states - Unemployment rate 3.9%.
In 2017, India -Unemployment rate 4.05%.
Top 5 highest unemployment rate in the world:-.
1) Spain - Unemployment rate 15.30%.
2) Brazil - Unemployment rate 12.40%.
3) Italy - Unemployment rate 10.40%.
4) Turkey - Unemployment rate 9.60%.
5) France - Unemployment rate 9.20%.
Above the unemployment rate represents that technology does not create long-term unemployment.

Hello everyone,
What is technology? It means continuous advancement in the field of our techniques. In today's era, we are surrounded by different gadgets like mobile, Laptop, TV, etc.
As technology in the world is increasing, our gadgets also upgrading. Technology reduces our working time and energy. So technology has both pros and cons. So I am going to discuss the merits or demerits of technology.
Advantages:
1) By using technology we can save our time and energy.
2) Instead of manual work, we can use the computer for more efficiency and error-free work.
3) By different app, we can make our daily routine work easier.
4) In education, medical, share market, IT industry everything totally depends on technology
5) Lots of people earning money on YouTube.
6) No. of opportunity also increasing day by day in India.
7) Many software engineers are working for the betterment of India even outside India also.
8) So no of jobs in every field increased exponentially.
Disadvantages:
1) The literacy rate in India very high, so numerous people don't have the latest gadgets by they can use technology.
2) Yes, it is also true that if any person doesn\'t know about computer, mobile then he/she is not able to find any job easily, cause in every field you must be knowledgeable about technology.
3) My advice to the Indian govt. for the betterment of India, govt should organize a campaign in backward areas and villages. So every person can take the benefit of technology.
In the end, technology makes our life more comfortable but somewhere we are also losing our reasoning and thinking level.
Thank you!

Hello all,
Technology has taken over the world completely in every field whether it is in education, marketing, socialising, or employment.
The recent technologies developed in the 20's had a great effect on our lifestyle, it has made our lifestyle so much easy and time saving. Jobs nowadays are also affected by the technologies as most of the company go with the flow of latest technology and hence look for the people who are good at technical skills. Also as technology advances the need for the workers also increases and hence employment increases. Companies like uber, ola, swiggy, zomato, flipkart, etc has given employment to millions of people. This is the power of technology. It has brought a revolution to the world. We can now apply for jobs just by staying at our house. We don't need to roam from office to office in search of a job vacancy as there are website, social networking sites and job specific apps which tells about the vacancy. We can also prepare for the jobs by using various source of information available on internet. Technology has made employment so easy. But the disadvantage is that people are not looking up on their physical fitness and as a result lead to major illness problems. It company employees use to sit in front of laptop for several hours resulting in damaging of their eye sight and mental illness too. Also those who don't have the facility to learn these technical skills face a problem in getting a job and hence end up having a low-paid job.

Let's start our topic of discussion today, which is Impact of Technology on jobs. With increasing digitalization and automation, huge progress has been made in job sectors due to new technologies coming out everyday. However it comes with a cost and here we will discuss about what impact it is making.
One thing that has happened that has had significant impact on job sector is digitalisation of work or simply saying computers are replacing human labour today. They is very benefical for industries in manufaturing sector because it has significantly reduced companys cost due to no labour employement and also has made work work more precise. However due to this unemployement of lower level workers has increased and that could become a problem in the future.
If we talk about corporate sector with updating technology paperwork has been reduced and everything has been transferred to computers.
With advancement in AI technology, jobs will be significantly reduced in the future. Positions will be open for working alongside AI to manage AI but that would require extensive skills and would not benefit low level workers.
Due to advancements in technology, unemployment can become a big problem which can lead to severe consequences like strikes and revolts. It is important to track the level of employment at this stage to predict future scenario and act according to it. In corporate sector, training people in computer technology will open doors to them of new jobs fields.

Hello everyone, my name is Harsh Gupta.
First of all, I would like to thank you for giving me the chance to speak on this topic.
As we are all familiar with the word technology it is an application of scientific and conceptual knowledge for achieving practical goals. I agree with the statement that Technology is most important for a nation's growth and development. But technology has bad impacts on social life like data insecurity, distractions, loneliness, fraud, and so many else l.
But, nowadays, it is affecting the student's life. When technology usage comes into the education field, no doubt it makes education cheaper, but the students are not studying with phones. They even don't know the difference between kg and g, but they perfectly know how to make videos and reels.
For proper education, there should be an environment like a classroom that they are not getting in online classes. Even they don't know the meaning of punctuality, discipline, and how to interact with others.
Also, automation impacts the job, plus I recently heard about a robot harming two officers in its training period. The AI tools, also, make a bad impact on social life via this fraudsters start blackmailing people by sending them fake intimate videos.
At last, I just want to say, that we should also think about the bad impact before laughing at such powerful tools and demoting online education for the sake of our upcoming generation.

Hi everyone,
Today's topic is the impact of technology on jobs, and it can be seen in today's world. Demands of IT sectors, automobiles sector and various other firms they all are moving towards automation and advancement in their technologies. And its impact can be seen on the youths, many employees are getting fired from companies because their knowledge is of no use to the company, the private sector is growing ridiculously high and their demands from their employees to get a good hand on recent technologies otherwise their jobs will be at stake.
In many engineering colleges, the placement scenario is getting worse year by year, only the CSE nerds are getting good packages while the other branch engineers is submitting their resumes to one company to another. This is because we are studying decade-old syllabus and in this era it is of no use, we core branch engineers will be not getting good placement until we learn these new technologies or switch towards government sector, at last, we want job security.
Impact of technology on jobs have two sides like a coin, if one is moving hand to hand with new technologies then he will be exploring new jobs and challenges in his life, and on the other hand the one who is learning and gaining expertise on old technologies, which are only present in the books not in the real world than for him stability in jobs will be a tense situation.
Thank you.

Hi everyone, I am Sudhanshu Gupta.
Today, I am going to present my viwes on the topic of the impact of technology on jobs.
So, first of all, I Want to define you what do you mean by technology?
Technology is the way of applying scintific knowledge for practical purposes. in industry or in our daily life.
It is a very hot topic that are asked in engineering interviews. Technology has both negative and positive impacts on the job.
In this time. we are fully depent on technology. We can not count how much we are using technology.
Due to the increase in technology the demand of technically skilled youth is incresing and hence it creat a job for educated person.
These technologies make the work easier in the employee's life. Using technology is not bad but miss-using Technologies is a very bad thing.
Technology can also saves the life of people.
Computers are better than human at computing and analysing the data.
It does work very efficiently and give better result than a human work result. At the telemarketing industry, we can use chat boxes because these can be used 24/7 assistance.
With also an increase of technology humans are becoming very lazy. Today AI is replacing humans in many jobs. Customers are not fully satisfiesd with AIs.
If technology grows. Definitely, there will be unemployment.
So, we have to take care of this. Thank you.
