In my opinion, social networking is very highly debated and controversial topic.

Social networking has become a great platform for connecting people all over the world, learning new ideas, business purpose, building self-confidence, etc. And it also become the part of our daily lives. Social media like WhatsApp, Facebook, LinkedIn etc. helps us to connect people virtually. For eg we can talk to anyone face to face through video call on WhatsApp or many other apps so it has made ours life easy. Social networking also the provides the job opportunities virtually. Through it we gets lots of information about happening over the world. For eg we get to know about Israel and Palestine war, many new defense technique for protection etc. so social networking help us in many ways but its in our hand to use it carefully as we know that there many cyber crimes, fraud, misuse of information which will get us into troubles.

At last, I would like to conclude that social networking sites has very positive impact on ours daily life only if we use it carefully.

In my opinion, social networking sites are very important to connect with each other. There are many positive and also negative points for our society.

There are some positive uses of networking sites:

Nowadays social networking sites are very valuable places to know about what is being in our society and we raise our voice our opinion that it's correct or harmful for our society and culture. It's a very common place to everyone there is no compromising for people. Every people who have an educated or uneducated child young use this side. Social media is a place where we have shared our data very simply.

Some negative points are;

There are no restrictions for age limits, nowadays in social media many bad things are displayed which is not good for children. Many children have suffering mentally and physically situation. Networking sites have open only Android systems there are many poor people who haven't bought for their economic situation so they haven't known what is being in our society and our culture. Social media is also a good side for sharing personal data but some hackers have hacked their personal data and misused social media.

Still, I want to share my view towards social networking. If we take the example of YouTube then we can see there are so many people who can show their talent and can earn through this platform.

Also, if we take the example of that child who can not take the drawing class or something for which he/she is interested, can learn from YouTube. This means social networking is such a platform which promotes creativity and encourages you to follow your passion.

But in the other hand as this platform is open to all so we can also see so many useless content which is really make the bad impact on society.

Now if we talk about Instagram, though it is depends on the user which type of content they want to see but now a days because of over flow of cringe content it is also tough to find the right content and also we are really enjoying that useless content that's very shameful thing. There have also so many pros and cons like every other thing which was discussed above.

So the impact of social networking is depends on "you want to use it or want to used by it.

On the positive side, when we feel low or stressed, we can watch motivational or entertaining videos that help refresh our minds. Social media is also a powerful tool for gathering information. In the past, people had to search through many books to clear their doubts, but nowadays we can find answers instantly with just a click. Moreover, social media has created new job opportunities such as blogging, digital marketing, advertising, podcasting, and even teaching online. It has become a platform for people to showcase their knowledge and talents.

On the other hand, if misused, social media can have negative impacts. Many people waste hours scrolling reels, playing online games, or watching movies. This habit can lead to a loss of productivity, and in some cases, it may even cause stress, anxiety, or depression.

Therefore, social media is like a coin with two sides. It is up to us to use it wisely for learning, growth, and opportunities, rather than letting it control our time and health.

Let's brief the topic, for the next 10 to 20 minutes we should convey our thoughts, which may be advantages or disadvantages of the same.

I'll begin with a discussion, in my perspective.

Initially let's consider some advantages of social media, So if any incident happens in society, that incident gets scattered in seconds around the world, and everyone becomes aware of it, it's a positive side of social media, but the other part is, if any incident happen, some individual who don't have proper understanding of the incident, they start sharing the thing the way they understand, due to this many Miss conceptions are gather together in the society, as a result of which wrong messages are got shared.

Now let's take one more drawback of social media, everyone knows how to use social media to travel on social media, and we don't need to do any physical activities, which in turn results in major physical issues.

In my opinion, the social site itself cannot be considered positive or negative as it solely depends on the user who is accessing it.

Social media if used the optimal way it can be the greatest tool for learning new things and connecting with people for example during the pandemic social media helped us to discover ourselves, and our passion and provide us the time to connect with our loved ones and get updates on the current happening.

On the flip side if a person is just spending hours scrolling through content which has nothing to do with his goals and benefits he's just wasting his time and energy. Research has shown that people tend to compare their lives with others on social media where everyone just posts about their good times and achievements which leads to a major cause of depression. Considering the dopamine hits it gives it won't be wrong to consider social media as a DIGITAL CIGGERATE accessible anytime, anywhere. A recent survey concluded that people would rather spend time online than get out and actually connect with people which questions whether we are social animals or evolved to social media animals.

Merits :
1) many types of social networking sites help homeschooled children with their subjects.
2) many different types of businesses are run through these social networking sites
3) individuals can talk and chat online with their loved ones who are living abroad which only got possible because of these social networking sites.
4) there are various social campaigns which are also run with the help of social networking sites.

Talking about the Demerits:
1) one of the most obvious demerits of using social networking sites is adult sites which can be harmful to pupils in many ways.
2) many mortals scroll through these sites endlessly without thinking for so many hours and due to this they waste their precious time.
3) Many different types of frauds also happen through social networking sites like credit card scams and so on.

Well, I think that there are many advantages of using social networking sites but its disadvantages cannot be overlooked I think people should use these sites in a proper manner so it won't harm them in any way.

It also helps us to gain knowledge and learn new skills, there are several free courses available on the Internet. We can also earn from social media by showcasing our talent and skills. We can also find jobs using social media and networking. We can also utilize social media platforms to spread awareness around the world about climate change, nature, social activities, etc.

On the other hand cons of social media, users' accounts can be easily hacked as most of the social media users are young stars, and most of the users lost their money from games and betting apps. These days most of the content available on social media has no limit on age consent it may affect young users in the wrong way.

At last I want to say is social media users have to limit their screen time and utilize it positively so that we can grow along with these innovations with a positive attitude.
