Social media impacts different people in different ways.

Social media is helpful for enhancing products and promoting job portals easily. People can get information easily through social media because today everyone has a phone in their hand and uses social media. It is a platform where people from other countries advertise their products to attract users.

However, social media badly affects children under 8 years of age because many students use social media in the wrong way, such as scrolling reels, making reels, and wasting too much time.

I agree with this, but I think social networking sites are good for creating connections, via LinkedIn, Instagram, its help to reach the public we won't meet in person. That person can we help us as not all the time our friends can't. But it is very important to know whether the people are verified or not. Scammers are always finding new way for doing scam via fake id, fake profiles, and sometimes fake job post also. But we should be aware of this, search for them to cross-check everything. In conclusion, I would like to say it fully depends upon us how we consume it and for what purpose.

Firstly, talking about positive impacts, we can get so much information that can be helpful for academics or for research. We can earn and get jobs. We can show our presence and share our thoughts. We can communicate with people easily. We can increase our presence on e-commerce business platforms, which has opened up so many opportunities for small businesses to make their businesses successful. 

Now talking about negative impacts, one major impact is 'fraud'. People can get into fraud activities such as bank fraud, purchasing a TV, and getting just a box. They can also get cheated by other people on social media in some way, such as relationships.
Another drawback is that people now a days are getting too influenced by things happening on social networking platforms, so they do activities that are not necessary and also harmful. They are also spending a lot of their time on social networking platforms, so they become inactive in other activities and think that I will do it later.
