Regarding the impact of social networking sites, I would like to add my perspective which is in favour of the topic.

Social networking sites provide an easily accessible and safe platform for interacting with like-minded people and networking with those in the same profession. It can also give us a space for spreading information such as news, accident cases or any emergency to a large audience in less time. This can also give a benefit in situations where there is an appeal for help, for example, blood donation. These sites can help to spread these appeals faster and reach out to more people which can be beneficial.

According to me, social media is a good source of networking it helps us to get connected with people all over the world, it helps us to interact and touch with new relations, improve communication, it helps us to gain knowledge and share memories to everybody we want to share with.

Social media is helping us in all our needs in technology like online shopping, impormation on paticular topic for projects and to get general knowledge.

So, their is a positive impact of social networking sites if we use it accordingly. There are my disadvantages too if we use it in that way, but by using it in a good way helps us to have a good future and a good network all over the world.

My opinion impact of social media is positive and negative.
In a positive way on social media to gain knowledge and improve skills. To interact with the world world people. And on social media is useful for the business and publicity for their product. Sharing the ideas and memories with another whole world of people.

Negatively on social media, terrorism and hackers occur. Many people post the photo on social media to show off and for publicity by continuously checking their likes and comments.

My opinion is impact of social media it depends how we use.

My opinion on this topic is, there are always two sides, one is positive and the one is negative. It is totally depends on us, how much time we should waste on social media by scrolling and chatting with friends unnecessarily, this is the negative side.

As I told, the positive side of social media is we can easily connect with our old friend and family, we can share our thoughts and social media helps a lot in business growing, we can easily connect with 1000+ people in single day or I can say in minimum 24 hours so this is positive side of social media.

So, we have to use it wisely.

The impact of social networking is not bad — it depends on how we use these sites, either with a good mind or a careless one.

Many of us are making money through these platforms, while some people just keep scrolling through pages while sitting on the sofa. These social networking sites are becoming a part of our lives.

Now we study through online platforms and learn new skills — we even learn cooking from them. For example, a mother cooks delicious food for us every day but she doesn’t upload videos or make money from it. On the other hand, some mothers cook for their families, record the process, upload the videos on social media, gain subscribers, likes, shares, and comments, and eventually start earning.

In short, we need to overcome our laziness so we can also understand the real use of social media.

Nowadays people are more engaged in their mobile phones rather than communicating with a person sitting beside them while residing in the same room.

In the good old days, people use to live happily when they were more socially physical rather than the so called "social networking". They communicate with each other play with each other.

Back in the day in India uses social networking but in a minimal possible manner because of the shortage of the internet or unless there was no term of unlimited internet.

But if we see this on a positive aspect, today our education system is good.

Many facilities are available on the internet If you want to learn something, you have many options to gain knowledge from your favourite faculty. And to grow your mind in innovative ideas.

Now, about negative aspects:

Youth today are spending much more time on social media, which is also disturbing their mental and physical health.
Because Today's youth spend 3 to 4 hours on social media.

Which is more hazardous on their lives?

Nowadays, use of social media is increasing very rapidly. Everything is available online many people are making money online. The Usage of social media is depends upon us, how we use it and how much time we waste on social media.

Nowadays, our education system is totally online our societies also prompt their children to learn new knowledge. But on the other side same they are wasting their time by using social media.

As mentioned, today’s topic is the Impact of Social Networking Sites.

After reviewing some of the thoughts/tweets on this topic, I read a thought stating that the human brain can be manipulative in nature.

I think I agree with that—training the brain the way we want can lead to both positive and negative impacts of social media.

If we take the positive side, it means seeing motivational or entertaining videos to refresh a person’s mind. It is also a tool for gathering information about others. It also creates many job opportunities like blogging, content creation, and motivational videos. It also helps many creative fields like photography, cinematography, editing, etc. to grow. For example, through photography as a hobby, I gained confidence.

If we think of the negative impact, I would say many people waste hours scrolling reels, playing online games, or watching movies. This habit can lead to a loss of productivity, and in some cases, it may even cause stress, anxiety, or depression.

Nowadays, cyberbullying happens where posting something informative or creative can attract vulgar comments, which may lead to depression. On social media platforms, people also stalk others and create inappropriate photos with AI, then post them on these platforms.

As I said earlier, the way you use social media is how it impacts society, culture, etc.

When discussing the positive side;

It helps us to learn new things like the modern technologies in one place. We gain a lot of information from social media platforms. We can easily communicate with each other around the world.

When we discuss the negative side;

Nowadays, people can slowly forget face-to-face interaction as they become fully focused on social media. They become lazy and children have eyesight issues at a young age. Moreover, some people misuse social media to exploit others.

In conclusion, we should take the responsibility and decide in which way we should use the social media and in a way which we shouldn't use.
