According to me, there are many advantages of using social media. First and foremost is the vast amount of information that one can gather through these apps. Nowadays, everything that happening around the world reaches us within half an hour. Everyone is aware of everything and more.

Social media is also used to enhance our existing knowledge on a n number of topics. It is used for educational purposes as well.

With the growth of Social Media, several small businesses have flourished. Thus it supports small businesses giving them the chance to shine.

It helps people showcase their talents, thus giving them the recognition and support they deserve.

Anything that has advantages has several disadvantages as well.

A study has shown, that we check our phones about 250 times a day. Such use of social networking sites leads to addiction, and depression in extreme cases.

The younger generation is more focused on looking relevant and getting likes on social media. They tend to doubt themselves and often get depressed.

The concentration span has remarkably decreased in the past few years.

Some of the biggest cons are cybercrime, cyberbullying, and online harassment.

But there is some negative impact of social media account may get hacked, loss of money on gaming and betting app.

As we are talking about social networking sites' impact on people by listening to the valuable points of all the participants and according to my thoughts social networking sites have both positive and negative impacts on people because there is always two sides of a coin head and tail something can not always get a head or a tails same with this. With the help of social networking sites we can explore the world, we can connect and have conversations with different people all over the world everything is just a click away from us.

The big MNCs are using social networking sites for their hiring information and job openings. Entrepreneurs are getting ideas by exploring different things there are so many valuable sites like LinkedIn, Quora, Telegram, and YouTube, these all sites have their different worlds. As I said there is also the tail part of everything people are misusing and committing wrongdoings sites like Instagram and Facebook accounts get hacked and kids are using these sites which is not good sometimes we could connect with a typical stranger. For someone, it can be a state of distress when he or she thinks that they miss something just by not being online on the account. People lose confidence they can not talk face to face.

So, I am concluding my words by saying that everything has its head and a tail side so positively use social networking sites for your growth and always use the detach methodology once a month like detach from social media so that it could not harm for well-being or do not get addicted by these sites.

In my opinion, social media networking could be used as a tool to connect with people. For businesses it helps them to connect with their customers, for job seekers it helps them connect with HR etc. In traditional communication systems, we cannot connect with people that easily but now we can connect with them whenever or wherever we are.

We can advertise our business in a large scale also opportunity for talent acquisition is drastically enhanced as we can easily find job all over the world and the recruiters can reach their desired candidates. Platforms like LinkedIn have helped millions of job seekers.

Talking about the negative impact, social networking sites have increased the sense of comparison among people. Some people show off their lives too fabulous but in reality they are just lying to the whole world. Scrolling reels on Instagram has destroyed the academics of our youths drastically. People have two faces. They are living fake lives just to show off them better in social media. People have 1000 friends on Facebook but in reality, they are not having a single true friend. People are feeling lonely. They need some authentic person to share their thoughts, not the fake social world. According to a recent report, loneliness has become a disease in some countries.

So we have to use our wisdom wisely so that we can be prevented from the negative impact of social networking sites and can utilise the positive sides of these sites.

Firstly, I talk about the positive side. Social media is very important for us. We can connect to the people through the social media across the world. The main that I want to share is 'social media addiction.

The youth generation is fully addicted of social media. They spent a lot of time on the social media platforms and they forgot their goals and their aims. There are lot of bad contents available on social media and they get sexually addicted and spoil their valuable period of life.

There are several disadvantages of social media like there is a feature of Advertisement. This is can be also a negative point because I have my example that whenever I am using, for example, YouTube there some Ads run in between the videos or anything sometimes we click on that ad so we diverted from real content like that there are so many drawbacks of Social media or in real life there are so many diverting part but we should careful about the Positive and negative of the thing than we should decide where we want to go.
