Good morning everyone.
I am Nitish and I would like to introduce this topic in front of you all 'How social networking sites affect us'.
Like every coin has two sides so this also has. Talking about merit its extreme importance arises when it connects loved ones separated very far by geographical distance examples of such sites are Facebook and WhatsApp which are available in almost every smartphone. In the corporate world, it connects like-minded people for their growth and various career opportunities example of this is LinkedIn.
This can be also used by brands and small-scale startups to increase their scalability to common people through marketing and various means.
In present days many of the movements like ##mee too and all break through social networking sites.
Now diving into its cons, there can be no denying that I had spoiled our youth to a great extent by wasting their precious time. For ex, there is a well-known app called Snapchat which has a feature of Snapscore. So many people are just busy increasing their snap score rather than focusing on their careers.
There is always the risk of privacy and hacking of personal information which are used by various illegal companies to steal people's money and use their data in unethical ways.
In recent days it has become the major source of false or fake news which is a serious threat to the country and its people.
So to tackle these problems we have to follow a balanced approach by regulating these social media sites to prevent the flow of fake news and scams. At a personal level we can restrict ourselves from visiting social media too frequently but only to access useful information and engage with loved ones.

Hello Everyone,
My Name Is Mohit Kashyap.
We Know That Social Media A Online Platform. We depend on our smartphones for work, school, and our personal and social lives. The internet has become a significant part of our daily lives. So too has a social media Platform.
And it is having an impact on today's School Students.
Social media use is nearly universal among today’s teens. Pew Research center reports 97 percent of 13- to 17-year-Olds use at least one of seven major online platforms.
The amount of time spent on social media platform sites is astounding. One report indicates the average teen ages 13 to 18 spends about nine hours on social media each day, tweens ages 8 to 12 are on for about six And Seven hours a day.
Advantage And Dis-Advantage:
* Staying connected with family and friends worldwide via email, text, FaceTime, etc.
* Quick access to information and research.
* Banking and bill pay at our fingertips.
* Online learning, job skills, content discovery (YouTube).
* Involvement in civic engagement (fundraising, social awareness, providing a voice).
* Great marketing tools.
* Opportunities for remote employment.
Dis-Advantage :
Online vs Reality. Social media itself is not the problem. It is the way people use it in place of actual communication and in-person socializing. “Friends” on social media may not actually be friends, and may even be strangers.
Increased usage. More time spent on social media can lead to Cyberbullying, social anxiety, depression, and exposure to content that is not age-appropriate.
* Social Media is addicting. When you’re playing a game or accomplishing a task, you seek to do it as well as you can.

Hello Everyone,
The impact of social networking sites (SNS) has both pros and cons.
On the downside, personal information shared on these platforms can be misused or stolen, leading to significant privacy concerns. Additionally, SNS can contribute to mental health issues such as anxiety and depression, often exacerbated by cyberbullying and social comparison. They also serve as breeding grounds for misinformation and fake news, and the algorithms used by these sites can create echo chambers that reinforce existing beliefs. Furthermore, SNS can lead to wasted time due to excessive networking and may expose users to misleading advice from undesirable individuals. Security threats are also prevalent, as hackers and scammers frequently attempt to exploit users.
However, there are many advantages to social networking as well. These platforms offer opportunities to connect with influential people and discover new opportunities. They facilitate global connectivity, allowing users to interact with people from different countries. Many SNSs provide valuable educational content and learning resources. They help build and sustain communities by connecting individuals with similar interests and keeping people engaged. SNS are also effective for quickly disseminating information during emergencies or critical issues.
Additionally, they have created new business models and revenue streams, such as influencer marketing and targeted advertising. Platforms like Instagram serve as launchpads for new trends and artistic expression, and they can amplify voices and mobilize support for social causes, enhancing awareness and action on various issues.

Hello everyone, I'm Yashashree Joshi from Pune.
I would like to give my opinion on this topic.
Social media has a very positive and powerful impact on our day-to-day lives. Most importantly social media is helping the poor ones to educate themselves and creators to show their talent. During the pandemic, social media have proved a boon to many from finding jobs on Linkedin to hospital beds, vaccines to help our close people. Students can learn anywhere, anytime and from any teacher they want to globally. Business can be increased via digital marketing. We can stay connected to our dear ones even if they are miles away from us. Students who live in rural areas where transport was an issue earlier had to travel and waste 2-3 hrs to reach school or classes, now because of online teaching and classes on youtube they can save their time and money.
And like these, there are many things which social media have made us accessible at the very cheapest price.
But when I want to tell about the cons then before that I would like to say that "It's always upon us how we use anything".
Yeah, there are phishing, cyber-attacks, misuse of it. Youngsters are getting addicted to it, depression, loneliness, etc and for some, the definition of social media is " Your distraction is my attention".
Everything in this world has some kind of disadvantages but when it comes to social media then those cons are created by us. We can limit its use and control it.
So, I would like to conclude that the impact social media is creating and had created is worthy. Even if it has cons but its pros outweigh its cons.
Thank you! Jai hind!

Good morning everyone.
I would like to talk about the impacts of social media. Social media is a platform where we can access the information we want and share the information, thoughts and messages from one person to any person around the world. Every topic has its both pros and cons and social media also has its advantages and also disadvantages.
I would like to say some good things about social media first, social media is a good platform to learn new things and also connect the family, and friends throughout the world. Some cons of social media are it mainly affects the youths who are depressed, procrastinate, feel lonely, increase in anxiety, and increase the risk of suicidal thoughts by using social media beyond their use. People always tend to know about the people they get to know in social media and they always want to know about this person, not about people in their life and family.
In today's world people who don't know how to use their phones or social they also buy smartphones to honor and show off to their world. They are also on social media for a long time when there is no use of it. They use social media beyond their use and waste their time without knowing how much it causes for their own.
At last, I would like to say social media has its own advantages and disadvantages it would help the person how much we use it how much we learn from it, and how we adopt those things in our lives for healthy living. Amrutha also becomes poison when we intake it in overdose so we need to know about all the things how much it is and how much it is harmful and use according to it.
Thank you.

Good evening everyone,
This topic is always controversial to discuss as you know flip coin always has two sides as this topic. There is a good example of how this social site has two sides to society, REELS and YOUTUBE SHOT the one who makes reels are influencers who earn for their lifestyle and on the other hand of side the ones who waste their time watching these reels and youtube shots for hours and hours without blinking their eyes for a while our teenagers as well as adults.
So it was just a simple example but social sites are impacting the life of many for the sake of good for example, increasing the customer base of facts, MNC's, helping out a small-medium size business to increase their reach to the untouched market, making easier for peoples to connect to across the globe, its also very helpful in gathering information on the single tip of our finger also for any type of data which we want to gather or share with a person who is setting across the globe and looking for a solution of a problem but this does not mean that there is only positive and growing impact of social media there is also other dark and negative side of social site as there is telegram through this app we can reach to anyone one without getting trace or track by this this app some scammer are misleading, doing fraud, spread mislead info about share market which is latest fraud misleading is happening on different channels of social media.
So now I would like to conclude here that it's in our hands how to use this weapon for good sake or for bad influence.
It all depends on us.
Thank you and have a wonderful day.

Hello everyone, my name is kajal Our topic of discussion is the impact of social networking sites, even though we cannot imagine a life without social media now, but we have to agree with the fact that it has its pros as well as cons.
I will talk about the pros first, social networking sites played a crucial role during the COVID-19 pandemic, for quick information sharing like information about virus, safety protocols and announcements by the government, facebook, and Instagram helped people with emotional and mental support by social connections, these networks were used as a tool for online education also. Not only in a pandemic, in general, many people do not have easy access of eduction they have YouTube and other online platforms for learning, but women who are not allowed to work outside can also do work from home, and people who have different skills and want to explore new skills, are getting a better opportunity through social media. There are regions, facing natural disasters we can rise fund for them also, for cancer patients we can rise fund. NGOs and the government are using social media for awareness campaigns. Now I will like to draw the attention towards the negative aspects of the social media, for mainly students it is becoming a site of distraction by different kind of stuff and secondly everyday we hear news about online scam about money, information and other things. There is always a fear of misinformation, that causes major problems in daily life. By and large, we can work on the negative things of social media and equip it with more new technologies.

I am discussing the impact of Social Networking Sites.
In my opinion, social media has become a powerful part of our daily lives, and it has both advantages and disadvantages.
Talking about the positive side, social networking sites have made communication extremely easy. We can stay connected with friends, family, and communities across the world. Students get access to educational content, online courses, and study groups, which help in learning.
Platforms like LinkedIn provide career opportunities and help in professional networking. Social media also plays a great role in spreading awareness about social issues, emergencies, and government schemes. It has also become a strong marketing platform for small businesses and startups.
However, there are some negative impacts as well. Many people get addicted to social media, which reduces productivity and affects their studies or work. Mental health issues like anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem are increasing due to comparison and cyberbullying. Privacy is also a major concern because personal information can be misused or hacked. Fake news spreads very quickly, which can mislead people and create conflicts in society.
So, to conclude, social networking sites are neither completely good nor bad; the impact depends on how we use them. If we use social media responsibly for learning, growth, and positive communication, it can be a great tool. But if we use it excessively or without awareness, it can harm our mental health, relationships, and productivity. Therefore, balance and mindful usage are very important.

Hi, My name is Adesh Singh.
My topic is "Impact of social networking Sites".
In my opinion, social networking has pros and cons, both in a balanced way. Yet the bad effects of using too many social networking sites can impact your personal life, and sometimes it sends you into depression. People on social networking sites used to post about their daily lives to show off their lifestyles on the internet to gain influence, and their followers tried to copy things. That is the first part of manipulation toward following harmful things on the internet. There are many social networking sites that are used to produce fake news to cause hoaxes around people. Such types of news are never tried by anyone to find the facts before posting them on the internet. People on social networking are used to creating pages to support some type of propaganda to create their images and distribute their point of view to other people. Nowadays, people are increasing their screen time by spending too much time on the internet, which can cause stress, and anxiety, not attaining a healthy lifestyle, following trends on social media, and disrupting their lives by not getting the things they desire.
In fact, social networking has advantages by connecting people around the world. Many social networking site pages also produce good, healthy content to enhance their lifestyles by working hard toward their goals. Education pages provide quality educational facts about the student who loves to spend time on the internet.
So, that is my point of view on the "Impact of social networking sites".
