Hello everyone.

Today's topic is social media's impact on society.

First of all, In the Olden days, people were aware of social media. People communicate in person-to-person conversation It is a significant advantage to improve their body language because after social media people have been chatting through phones easily but they were afraid to have physical conversations.

But also using social media apps there is a huge advantage for jobs, etc.

In the olden days, lot of people were not aware of apps like LinkedIn etc so they weren't aware of the opportunity to get their dream job.

Finally, In my opinion, use social media for the growth of your work or personal life, and avoid being manipulated in that virtual world.

Good evening everyone. Myself Shenbagavalli and I would like to share my opinion about this topic.

As everyone uses social networking sites for their day-to-day update and their lifestyle updation, social networking sites are popular and it is used by most people in the world. Social networking sites have both pros and cons.

Firstly, let me go with the pros. Social networking sites can be used for many useful things and it can be very useful for the younger generation. In such a way finding their jobs and to upskill their skill.

For example let me explain with a LinkedIn app which is the adult behavioural version of Instagram. This social networking site can be used for finding jobs uploading their new project or current ideas or their victory. So that the recruiter can easily identify the candidate.

However social networking sites have many pros for the younger generation and the old generation and also have more cons such as cyberbullying, stress and anxiety. For example in apps like Instagram, some of the users are cyberbullied for their posts. Using social networking sites beyond the limit will lead to stress and a lack of confidence and concentration.

Hello everyone,

Today I'm going to discuss my own perspective of social networking. As all of you have already mentioned using anything in excess has a negative impact and I totally agree here. The things I have experienced using social networking sites weren't great either though I still believe that it is a great platform to connect people, share knowledge, have businesses and many more which is hard to count.

Hi to all, Social networking is growing in fast way, and it has also been showing its prowess with its advantages, yet it does come with some disadvantages. It has huge potential, yet with flaws, it has helped and grown with us. As we grew up, the essence of this industry has played a huge role, from just connecting with friends to connecting your colleagues and also connecting with new people.

The best example is Linked In, the Adult version of Instagram with formalities.

There is no such way to not use it now, as people might think you are not knowledgeable enough to understand, in some way bullying to join these platforms, and it is nothing but a hole with no end to it.

It is best to stay within limits and know when, where and why to use it, as well as where it may help.

Using it wisely would help us with not falling into that hole For some, it is all advantages, yes but not for others who have not entered into this territory.

There two sides of Social networking sites:

It includes its pros as well as its cons. Nowadays almost everybody is on social media. It can create a positive or negative for individuals. If we talk about the positive it is a source of entertainment, People can relax their selves by watching very relatable reels or watching their loved ones dance or show their talent on the platform. But it can be more dangerous if we keep scrolling through our reels for hours there is no logic to spend your time or waste your time on a site which is not even beneficial. It is just a source of entertainment.

We take WhatsApp as an example it is a chatting app or site, that consists of limitations as well as entertainment, If you are feeling bored you can view the status of your known people, and you can upload a status also. The main motive is to communicate with the people as easily as it is possible here. The status can be uploaded for 24 hours only after that it will be removed by default. So, these are the restrictions it causes which can be taken as a positive sign.

Nowadays social media plays a key role in every life.

Social media have both advantages and disadvantages.
Coming to advantages everyone can easily communicate with others. Connectivity: Through social media, we can make new relationships.
Awareness: Everyone knows what is happening in the whole world by sitting in one place through social media.
Education: we can gain information related to jobs and academic careers.

Disadvantages:
By seeing social media everyone wastes their valuable time.

Hello everyone.

My name is Tarun I would like to talk about social media. In social media, both good and bad things are there.
First, talk about good things as we know we are all using some apps, like WhatsApp Facebook, Twitter etc.

We can easily get information to others, and we can share everything whatever they want easily. And coming to disadvantages we spend a lot of time on social media its not good when we scroll Instagram reel at least 30 30min to 50. We lose ourselves.

That's all my opinion.

Hello everyone.

Talking about the impact of social networking sites depends upon how an individual makes the best use of it everything has its pros and cons there should be a limited age to which a person can join social networking sites.

For example: for Instagram, there is an age limit to join ie 13 years but it has to be strictly implemented and made it till age 18 is considered for the development of mind maturity by doing this we can reduce online harassment cases of minors, money theft or other many cyber scams. At the same time, not all things are dark here we can learn about anything and everything just by a click sitting in one place and becoming knowledgeable there was recent news on how economically underprivileged who couldn't afford to take coaching for competitive exams like IAS took the help of online free tutorials available on youtube and cracked it in Andhra Pradesh as all it needed was mobile data and a phone which is comparatively cheaper than coaching class fees so by coating these 2 examples we can say that its up to an individual how he/she makes use of it.

Impact of Social Networking Sites
Good morning everyone,
I'm Mohan, and I'm excited to kick off our discussion on the Impact of Social Networking Sites.
In today's digital age, social networking sites have become integral to our lives. Platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter connect us with friends and family, provide a platform for sharing ideas, and offer access to information.
However, the impact of social media is a complex issue with both positive and negative consequences.

On the positive side, social media can:
* Foster social connections: It allows us to stay connected with loved ones, regardless of geographical distance.
* Facilitate information sharing: It enables the rapid dissemination of news and ideas.
* Empower individuals and communities: It can be used to raise awareness about social issues and mobilize people for action.

On the negative side, excessive use of social media can lead to:
* Mental health issues: Constant comparison to others and cyberbullying can negatively impact self-esteem and mental well-being.
* Addiction: Spending excessive time on social media can interfere with work, studies, and personal relationships.
* Privacy concerns: Sharing personal information online can expose individuals to identity theft and other security risks.

To maximize the benefits and minimize the drawbacks of social media, it's essential to use these platforms responsibly. This includes;
* Setting limits: Allocating specific time slots for social media use.
* Prioritizing real-life interactions: Spending quality time with family and friends.
* Being mindful of online privacy: Protecting personal information and avoiding sharing sensitive details.
* Practicing digital citizenship: Promoting kindness and respect in online interactions.
Let's explore into these aspects and discuss strategies to harness the power of social media for positive change.
