Social media gives lots of beneficial outputs, new information, and new updates, and most importantly it helps to connect the loved ones who are far away from them. Every kind of application is useful when we use it positively.

Hacking, data stolen, and personal information linkage happen but keep it secure ways, kept private.

Don't visit unknown sites. Use it carefully, So you don't have to face such a thing.

I'm here to share my thoughts on the impacts of social networking sites.

So to start with I would like to always consider this point any tool or technology which we use must have its purpose and that why it's designed to solve a problem or make a difference to the problem.

The same applies to social networking sites.

Though it has both negative and positive feedback among people one should know its purpose and try to understand how it helps the individual.

Because perspectives of the positives and negatives of technology, in this case, the social networking sites vary among people.

For example I would say social networking sites like LinkedIn make a person find who he is, and help to build himself by connecting and growing with people. Also, it gives a lot of opportunities to people to seek a job or get skilled or seek motivation but on the other side the same LinkedIn can be of no use to some others and they use it for video feed from or to just dm somebody.

So, my opinion would be if a particular person benefits from a certain thing by completely knowing his purpose, then it's fine. Otherwise, the impacts it creates would be negative.

I am Nitish and I would like to introduce this topic in front of you all 'How social networking sites affect us'.

Like every coin has two sides so this also has. Talking about merit its extreme importance arises when it connects loved ones separated very far by geographical distance examples of such sites are Facebook and WhatsApp which are available in almost every smartphone. In the corporate world, it connects like-minded people for their growth and various career opportunities example of this is LinkedIn.

This can be also used by brands and small-scale startups to increase their scalability to common people through marketing and various means.

In present days many of the movements like ##mee too and all break through social networking sites.

Now diving into its cons, there can be no denying that I had spoiled our youth to a great extent by wasting their precious time. For ex, there is a well-known app called Snapchat which has a feature of Snapscore. So many people are just busy increasing their snap score rather than focusing on their careers.

There is always the risk of privacy and hacking of personal information which are used by various illegal companies to steal people's money and use their data in unethical ways.

In recent days it has become the major source of false or fake news which is a serious threat to the country and its people.

So to tackle these problems we have to follow a balanced approach by regulating these social media sites to prevent the flow of fake news and scams. At a personal level we can restrict ourselves from visiting social media too frequently but only to access useful information and engage with loved ones.

My opinion on social networking sites is that it has both negative and Positive impact on the people. Some people may use it properly to gain knowledge or gather more information at a fingertip, and some may use it to earn money as most of the small ventures are getting popular through social media and many can borrow or share their ideas in social media which will be helpful to other people who are interested in that particular topic.

People can connect to their loved ones and friends through social media which will reduce stress and give a positive vibe for them when they are far away.

Other side it also affects many people as their whole day is just on scrolling which will be a part of their daily activities, as everyone in the early morning just they wake up and check their mobiles, as they think it is more important than their health.

So, I will say that social networking sites have both pros and cons but one can achieve anything through how intensely they use whether for good or bad it depends on the people who use them.

I would like to add my viewpoint on the topic "Impact of Social Networking Websites".

As we all know every coin has two sides and so is this.

If we talk about pros sides, there can be many such as just because of these social networking websites now people are connecting with their loved ones sitting far away from them, people can make new friends, also all the information of daily happing can be got by only one single touch.

A good example of this is Telegram, we all know how Telegram has been important in the lives of people; especially for students, where students can enter into the group as per their preference and can get help in their studies from their peers which can eventually help them to improve their skill and knowledge.

However, there are also certain demerits of these websites as because of these websites nowadays many people, especially the adult youth, who are the future of the upcoming times, have been spending their time in scrolling REELS, YOUTUBE, FACEBOOK, INSTAGRAM and SNAPCHAT and at the end they ended up wasting their entire day, week, month and year.

If we talk about examples, one best would be Snapchat and Instagram, these apps are now been famous in India and every single person, including young children, has been using them and making strikes by sending snaps to each other. They are now more caring for their strikes on the SNAPCHAT than their career.

Here the conclusion is that is is not practical to cut off the use of social networking websites entirely as it is now become a part of our daily life, but by understanding and making ba alancing relation between the informative use of these websites for building network or knowledge purpose and decreasing the use of it for entertainment purpose.

I believe that social networking provides scalability for people and also provides various pros!

But the way you use social networking makes sense.

If you use social networking for knowledge and connection with long-distance people by minding the connection with offline people that's gonna be great. But when you use it for your entertainment all the time it doesn't make sense. Of course, staying connected with people by uploading our data may cause hacking. So we need to mind our limit in using social networking.

So my opinion, is that there is no better than social networking unless we keep in mind our limits!

This topic is always controversial to discuss as you know flip coin always has two sides as this topic. There is a good example of how this social site has two sides to society, REELS and YOUTUBE SHOT the one who makes reels are influencers who earn for their lifestyle and on the other hand of side the ones who waste their time watching these reels and youtube shots for hours and hours without blinking their eyes for a while our teenagers as well as adults.

So it was just a simple example but social sites are impacting the life of many for the sake of good for example, increasing the customer base of facts, MNC's, helping out a small-medium size business to increase their reach to the untouched market, making easier for peoples to connect to across the globe, its also very helpful in gathering information on the single tip of our finger also for any type of data which we want to gather or share with a person who is setting across the globe and looking for a solution of a problem but this does not mean that there is only positive and growing impact of social media there is also other dark and negative side of social site as there is telegram through this app we can reach to anyone one without getting trace or track by this this app some scammer are misleading, doing fraud, spread mislead info about share market which is latest fraud misleading is happening on different channels of social media.

So now I would like to conclude here that it's in our hands how to use this weapon for good sake or for bad influence.

Firstly, I would like to express my opinion that social networking is one of the major platforms that helps people connect and express their thoughts and ideas for the betterment of society, individual growth, and improvement in one ideology. However, as each coin has two faces, the impact of social networking is also not an exception.

As it provides the chances for one's improvement, it is also responsible for one's downfall due to reasons like addiction to social networking, giving importance to your social profile like "what the society will think of me rather than what am I?" i.e. giving importance to other's opinion rather self's opinion.
