Foreign Television Channels are Destroying Our Culture

I am totally Disagree with the topic.

As it is not the foreign channels which are destroying our culture. Its us only.

We are adopting every wrong from where ever we get. We have become brain less. And after any wrong result is seen than we blame foreign channels, westernisation.

The fact is we are coward enough not to take the responsibility of our deeds by ourselves, so intend to blame others for our not so good behaviour.

We have already destroyed the very essence of our culture, we have forgotten the morals and values, so what is left here in our country to be destroyed by any channel.

We always neglecting the good things to be adopted rather go for the wrong ones.

Aren't we mature enough to distinguish between good or bad.

So ultimately it's up to us which side of coin we want to see.

According to me, foreign television channels are destroying our Indian culture, because if anyone watch any TV channel, they think that mentally I too change such heroin style. So easily the teenagers change, like their costumes, hair styles etc., this spoils our Indian culture.

The children also affected by foreign channel because now a days more number of children from their childhood watching some unwanted scene which is below their maturity level where they couldn't differentiate which is good or bad, so easily they are addicted, and forget our culture.

Now a days children and youngsters are very important in any developing nation. If youngster and children easily change, then how will they develop their country. Finally foreign culture is destroying our Indian culture.

We can never say that foreign channels are destroying our culture just before we say that we should first ask our selves that are we not that strong to hold our culture firmly. Foreign channels show their culture & they never ask you to copy those what they show. After being matured people are actually eligible to take or adapt right things therefore do adapt the good stuffs & forget the wrong stuff (according to our culture). But when it comes about our little children then for them there parents or the elderly people around them should be strict & cautious enough to deprive them from viewing such stuffs nothing else can be done cause television is the only medium where everything can be shown be it adult movies, be it animated movies for children or traditional stuffs.

At this time India is a developing country and I think the development of this country completely depends on us so we should expand our thinking. It's not limited that foreign channels destroying our culture so at this time what is the condition of our culture everyone got introduced that if there is no existence of a good and developed culture than what is destroying here.

In this modern and hi-tech world, there is India in which villages having no condition that anyone since their childhood can learn something from their culture that help's to lead in their future life.

Culture is nothing but our thinking only if you do best for yourself and everyone than its good so foreign channel may be helpful for someone its nothing for destroying our culture.

I like to say that foreign channels are not destroying our culture. They are just showing what their culture is. But they never asked us to follow their culture. Right? then why should we blame them?

Our country, India. Has a great culture and tradition which is respected and liked by the whole world. We should feel proud about it. The thing is, how an individual receiving the things shown in foreign channels? it depends upon an individual. And the foreign channels really gives lots of information which we doesn't get from our channels. The best example is Discovery channel. Everything we watch in it is very informative and useful. Helps to improve our knowledge on it. So it depends on us what we take from those channels and what we ignore.

My opinion regarding these topic is that foreign TV channels are not destroying our culture it depends upon the viewers thought from these channels we can improve the communication skill, through these channels BBC, discovery, national geography we can get the information of other countries in few minutes we can understand there culture and various techniques they are using for agriculture.

As well as how they are doing the transportation of fruits various product coming from farm to get more benefit as in India almost 60% of people are farmer. So it depends upon the person which things should he take which should not. Another thing is that about the fashion TV through these we can gain how to wear dress for various function to look a good person.

According to me, foreign television channels are not destroying our culture because it depends on us what we gain from television and foreign or Indian channels. It depends on our mentality what we thing right or wrong. Ex. Television also shows or display good news or channels but why we gain bad things. And after that, we blame foreign channels and say. They are responsible for destroying our culture. As we see and learning about culture in the childhood and after that one channel or news or a program can destroy our culture easily. How this possible? And please stop blaming another thing or a person for our mistakes. So first we should change ourself and another point is that. It depends on us we want to destroy or not, our culture. Thank you.

I am also a youngster and according to me, what I think it is only depends on the state of our mind that how we perceive it and I do not think that foreign channels are destroying our culture or devouring our rules of India. We are living in a modern world so we should adopt broad thinking, not only this we should open our minds in a new direction making our own rules by committing some mistakes and of course adopting a positive attitude towards things and even with the foreign channels also. As I have implement this in my life when I was at the teenage and mark my words that day and this day has brought a lot of changes in my life.

According to me foreign channels are not destroying our culture. It depends on person to person. How he/she takes the things. As India is a democratic country. Everyone has right what he/she wants to do. As we are adopting many things from foreign countries. As We prefer wearing western/foreign apparels rather than khakhi clothes. Many people prefer because we like it.

If foreign countries are destroying our culture. Than why we all are appreciating English language, English songs and movies. Why we are sharing our views in English rather than Hindi. As Hindi is our national language. Foreign channels are showing their culture. If we find something good. Than we should adopt it. We should not criticized anything.

A country where you prefer foreign brand, you watch Hollywood movies more than Bollywood, you speak and write a foreign language, you plan you holidays in foreign countries, you want job in foreign country, you prefer your baby to be born in foreign mean while you crave for every foreign thing, then what is the problem with foreign channel. At-least we get some sensible to watch on those channels.

And for the people who are talking about Indian culture, my question is what is your culture. Demand for dowry is your culture!, getting burnt by your mother-in-law is your culture!, not wearing jeans is your culture!, kissing in public is again your culture!, demanding for reservation is your culture! Come on!
