Yes, according to me, definitely extra curricular activities should be made compulsory in school because school is the place where a child spends the most important time of his life. School is the place by which a child get prepared himself to face a such a competitive world. If they made extra curricular activities compulsory so a child can learn how to manage the time which is the key of success and also he or she will learn how to handle more than one task at a time and extra curricular activities make their mind Sharp and also make there body strong. So it should be made compulsory.

Yes, extracurricular activities should be compulsory in school as most of the children decide to do engineering after 12th but many of them are aiming for defence officers for ex-courses are like near, test in army, cadet entry scheme in navy etc, but most of them failed in San during GTO tasks because it is due to lack of practice as it is not like studying for one year and then cleared the SSB we have to practice it from our childhood himself so if school provides some extracurricular activities related physical fitness then students will be aware of that from the beginning and it also helps in the SSB interview not only in this line but also it helps in railway jobs too, SSC, CDs after graduation so we need to practice it to make top scorer during interviews of these as it also develop our personality.

A person spends very crucial time in the school and it can transform one's life if the environment is creative and inspiring. Unfortunately, many schools nowadays have become prisons for the students. Moreover, students don't want to go to schools because they feel trapped in there. Our teachers also lacking the ability to teach with creativity. They are literally making these students a machine which barely responds to human feelings. This is why when these students get into civil services, they can't be effective officers who can feel and care about some of the problems we face as a society. Extra-curricular activities take you away from your books and the formal environment and push you towards an unfamiliar and informal environment where you totally rely on your own mind and this is where creativity kicks in and make you more expressive about things.

Actually, nowadays students are very stressed on their studies if schools allowed cocurricular as their compulsory thing and they will be eager to participate in that and they will enjoy that too and extracurricular and cocurricular will relief our stress we can feel free minded in studies and and it will be helpful to get good marks too and it will help them to come across fear and big motivation too and they will know their strength in which they are strong and I feel comfortable with this.

I think extracurricular activities are as important as regular studies. There is a lot of advantages as if you play sports, you will get healthy. Extracurricular activities also improve the knowledge about outside world.

More importantly, it gives you experience. Like experience in giving a public speech, or writing an essay. And it improves the communication skills and also helps to meet new people. And the most important thing, children come to know their field of interest.

One more example to say extracurricular activities is us, look at us, we are doing group discussion to get placed. And if there are two schools wherein one school there is extracurricular activities whereas in another school there isn't. Then the school children of the second school can't compete with the children of other schools in activities like speech, group discussion. So it helps to build confidence also.

Most of the schools will have extracurricular activities, but it reduces when you see colleges, I think it should change.

Nowadays, we are seeing that children are forced to concrete on studies, marks. Etc thus result in stress, health problems, no knowledge on going trends.

But, the only solution is extracurricular activities especially sports, the cultural activities, competition likes debates, Group discussion etc why especially sports because this will help children from mental stress, increase stamina this will help the students to concentrate on study and Time management which will help in the future.

Another Extra curricular activity, will help to build their career in which they are interested upon and teachers should observe in which they are interested and help the students in building up their career in that particular field by providing more knowledge.
