Yes, extra curricular activities must be included in school activities. Because school life is an important phase of a of a student. Plenty of things student learned. The face many good and bad experiences while they do these activities. The learn how to face challenges. Extra curricular activities include :-.

ASSIGNMENT.
SPORTS ACTIVITES.
GROUP DISCUSSION.
TEAM WORK.

Other than this. They come to know about their aim. All over it important for development of a child.

Hi friends, from my point of view, extracurricular activities is important in school & it's compulsory but it's not made a tension in student life. Because some parents want that our child always becomes first. Curricular activities made a medium of entertainment & knowledge. If this types of activities present in school than children defiantly learn something new.

YES, Extracurricular activities should be made compulsory in school. Because every child has his own brain.

And way of using it.

Many children like to read a book, stories and all.

Which really improve their reading skills. But.

A student should always actively try to take part in each and every activity that a school provides them. I know that in school age every child has his own dreamland but it is responsibility of their parents to motivate their child attitude towards each and every activity by providing them proper guidelines about a life. School provides many curriculum activities such as sports, ppt, and various types of competition regarding knowledge.

Many children do not take part in school activities. Because of fear or lack of confidence. But this habit may lead a negative impact on their career.

School activities help many children to achieve ladder of success in their life in the way sports or anything else.

It also teaches how to maintain self-discipline in front of elders. At last, it makes children with full of confidence and enthusiasm.

Thank you.

Yes, I endorse extracurricular activities should be made compulsory in school because nowadays schools are becoming career oriented, just focusing on big entrance exams, leaving sports and physical activities which are leading and making children's obese and their body mass index is becoming low.

In my opinion, sports will not distract children from studies instead it improves the confidence, self-motivation, and determination which will lead him to successful.

Thank you.

Hello,

This is Krishna,

From my point of view, the question that we are answering to, is not extracurricular activities (eca) it is part of education system. Management of school for their benefits they won't allow sports in school hours. To run the business they need ranks for schools so, they added extra study hours instead of sports hour. They are many schools which approved by the government have no grounds for conducting assembly so, the first step should be from govt. To approve only school which as a minimum place to conduct assembly and also compulsory ECA period for every school. So every student can explore his/her talent from sports, singing, painting or writing stories. There is no need to wait for one Sachin in 40 years there will more Sachin's in one year.

Yes, I support that extra curricular activity should be mandatory in schools because apart from academic knowledge students has many other talents where he/she is provided a platform to explore their talents extra curricular activities include dancing, singing, painting, sports, yoga etc. So every school must make this activity as a part of academics and they should be awarded. By including extra curricular activities student can improve their mental and physical growth and this activity make students relieve stress and strain. He/she can know what are the different talents hidden in them and they come to know where they stand in a group of people. Even recruiters are particularly concentrating on extra curricular activities other than academic activities. Every student knows what their abilities are and they even have an opportunity to develop various behavioral skills, thinking can be developed and hesitation to perform the particular task can be ruined off.

Thank you.

Hello.

According to me, yes extra curricular activities should made compulsory in school because these activities improve the body language and learn them more thing. It improves there nt only mental ability but physical and other ability. These activities teach them how to manage every situation. Only study can make them hard working intelligent but can't make them smart in all field.

So it is very important it should compulsory in school.

Yes, Extra Curricular activities are important. Why?

1. Must for holistic (Mental, Physical, Emotional) development of an individual.

2. It helps an individual to recognize his/her talent at an early stage and if he/she finds himself/herself good enough they can pursue it as a career.

3. Boosts confidence.

The problem is that Indian schools have very few activities and they force all students to do those activities. When I was a kid, I was not interested in doing dance, play but I had to do as it was a rule in our school to be part of at least two activities and I used to find it as wastage of my time. I was real of fond computer and want to join robotic club, mechanical workshop but my school had none and if any school has these facilities that are a mechanical workshop, robotic lab they often charge a student a lot of money (Rs. 500 - Rs. 1000) for 3-4 days course.

Extracurricular activities should be made compulsory in school. In modern time, competition is very tough & normally, schools operate 7-9 hours a day. In such time, if the child will not come in contact with extracurricular activities then he/she will become a part of monotonous and stressful life. Although, extracurricular activities make our body fit and healthy. And healthy mind resides in the healthy body. Students who take part in extracurricular activities, perform very well in studies.
