Actually, in my point of view, extracurriculars must be a part in school. Because it will help the students to be good at physical health. And mental health is also improved. Each and everyone have different talents. The childrens can find their talents only at the school stage. And they have enough time to enhance their talents only at that stage. So every parents should aware of that. The extra curricular activities improve the qualities like leadership, patience, problem solving skills, managing skills, team work etc. Lots of advantages are there. So I think extracurricular activities should be made compulsory in every school across India.

I believe today in our country we don't just need toppers but leaders!

Yes, In today's fast pacing world and the highly competitive world it's important to have people who are are not just well read but knowledgeable too.

No doubt education is a must but co curricular activities play an important role in a child's overall development.

-> firstly, children get a break from their routine, which is refreshing.
-> Secondly, children may explore their talents which they may later pursue as a career.
-> Thirdly, different co-curricular activities have their own benefit.

* Activities like extempore, recitation, debating, group discussions, quizzes, hone a child's speaking and Mental skills!

* Activities like sports are all team building activities which teach children about games spirit and team spirit (Plus have amazing physical health benefits too).

* Activities like theatre, drama or dances boost a child's self-confidence and make them independent. They Never get a stage fright and become bold enough to speak their minds and take actions!

Therefore, I believe co-curricular activities should be given a great importance in today's schools!

Hello everyone.

Today the topic given to us is extracurricular activities should be made compulsory in school.

In my opinion, extracurricular activities should be made compulsory in school because by adding them we can do level up of a child. We all know that not every child is good in academics by adding this we give the opportunity to them to make a good sportsperson good singer good dancer etc. It makes school life more interesting. Because of extracurricular activities, school children get a more interesting life in school.

But in my opinion, extra curricular activities create time management issues as students will not be able to spend time with families after school works and extra curricular activities.

Also, Extra curricular activities comes with extra expenses like registration fees, lesson fees, instruments or materials fees which all parents cannot afford.

After sports activities it leaves the students exhaust which leads to the downgrade in the efficiency in studies.

Also, there are some students who are not good in these activities as they are in education. So they will be demotivated.

And they lead to the downgrade in the grades of academics as they pay more attention to these activities.

So in conclusion, we came that extra curricular activities should be added but it should not be compulsory as students should be given choice if they want to participate or not.

Hi friends, in my opinion, I think that extracurricular activities should be made compulsory in schools in order to increase students thinking capabilities. As school cirriculam doesn't provide all necessary aspects for the students. By participating in the extracurricular activities the students are able to overcome their fear and their weakness. Some students are good in extra cirricular activiyies rather than cirricular. So, these extracurricular activities can increase their confidence and helps them to choose their goal in life. So, I strongly believe that extracurricular activities should be made compulsory in school.

Having a wide range of experiences prepares people better for the future, especially in today's uncertain world. The broad education that the co-curriculum can provide is better preparation for life in a society where an individual may change career several times in their life. Students must therefore have a fundamental grasp of multiple skills. For instance, athletes who had their career cut short due to mishaps might venture into business, having had co-curricular experience of entrepreneurship as part of their education. Speech and debate clubs might give a doctor or engineer the communication skills to move into broadcasting, teaching, or even politics. Placing more emphasis on the co-curriculum thus ensures a variety of possibilities for young people to choose from instead of being sidelined.

Yes, it should be because lets be practical guys, we all can not be just engineers / doctor, don't get me wrong, these are really good professions, but what am I telling about is that every children has some unique abilities in him/her, which can take his/her life to another level, if we identify it, & groom it properly, & it all starts with school days, because at that time children has no idea about their life, career, so if we let them explore than they will improve drastically as they don't have any kind of responsibilities at that time, also it will make them way more social, innovation, fearless, help them to identify the nature of the person, also the physical & mental benefits are also there in bonus, so yes if should be there in my humble opinion.

I feel privileged to express my views on this topic and become a part of the discussion with everyone here.

Extra curricular or Co-Scholastic (based on Latin word 'scholasticus' means "devote one's leisure to learning") activities has become an integral part of our Education system and everyday life. These activities teach the very essence, why human beings are called superior than other animals. We often find solace in doing activities which not only help us connect to our interests but also boosts our all round development as Citizens of Future. In fact taking short breaks from studies to pursue our interests helps improve concentration and learning power because of stimulation of brain cells and 'happy' hormones.

Schools play a very vital role in developing a little child into a responsible citizen of the country. Children should be given opportunities to participate and engage in various co scholastic activities, to name a few debates, games and sports, cultural activities, social and ecological activities and suchlike. These help foster the developmental process of children into adults.

Participation of students and encouragement of teachers and parents on this aspect of co scholastic activities (not sidelining scholastics obviously) should not be merely to gain marks but lessons to treasure throughout life.

Thanks for the patient reading.

Have a good day !

Yes, I think it should made compulsory because in school only children can learn a lot. Childhood is the age where we can learn many things without any hesitation and the base get developed at that stage. Extra curricular activities keep the mind fresh and awake. Children will be definitely benefited if extra curricular activities can be implemented.

Extra curricular activities should be made compulsory in school. Its the schools days which helps a student to think about his/her potential, likes and way of living ones life. Every student is different and so do their hobbies. In todays generation people who who study hard are earning less money as compared to those who are showcasing thier talent. Extra curricular activities help to embrace ones inner self and also help to select students carrier wisely.
