In my point of view, extra curricular activities which are developed the personal abilities of students hence it should be made compulsory in school.

Extracurricular activities increase the confidence level, stage learning, team work ability etc.

It develops the personality. It will give a platform to student express themselves in particular activities. It makes creative minds.

Hece, it is necessary to make extracurricular activities compulsory in school.

Extracurricular activities should be made compulsory in school because students are our backbone of our nation. If they always remain fit, everything alright. To get fit for studying, their mind should always be kept fresh, so it is necessary that extra curricular activities like sports, cultural activities, debate, speech, fancy act like other should be done in their school frequently. Mostly ethical programme are conducted to set their mind for study. So friends for this parents, teachers are responsible for giving opportunities to every student to give their best as extra curricular activities as their like.

Thanking you.

Hello guys, according to me, extracurricular activities is necessary because at school level every student got bored with mathematics, English. They are feeling stressed. They need some refreshment. So by providing extracurricular activities, they are able to focus, concentrate on their academics.

2nd point is that by extracurricular activities we are able to know the capability of the different student in different area like swimming dancing singing and by knowing this we are able to explore that students in that area. It gives a talented person to our nation. Every student has their strengths in the different area, it's college responsibility to know the strengths by making extracurricular compulsory to colleges.

Personally, I believe that extra curricular activities should be made mandatory since not only it helps students to discover and polish their own hidden talents but also boosts their self-esteem. Self-esteem is something which cannot be taught, but something that can be inculcated by our own and for that we need to bring out our talents and including extra curricular activities s one such way.

Hello Everyone,

Extracurricular activities should be made compulsory in school as it will lead to the all-round development of the children. Participating in events like Elocution and debates will prepare them for the future as many of the freshers who are about to face the corporate world are facing the problem of communication skills. A good touch with Art, Dance, Music and Sport will allow the children to find their passion in life.

Who knows children with great passion may become another Sachin, Messi, A. R. Rahaman, Mickel Jackson. These Extracurricular activities will be the initiation for the great passion. It also changes their perception of the world to think different and achieve more in life.

Thank you.

I agree that extra curricular activities should be made compulsory in school. In this competitive world, students are more focusing on their academics and they hardly get any time to do some extra curricular activities. If these activities are made compulsory as a part of schooling then not only students will be able to devote their time to what they love but also if he excels in that activity then he may take that the activity as a profession.

One of the reason, why India is behind other nations when it comes to sports is that sports is not compulsory in our schools due to which we are not able to recognize our sportsmen at the early stage of their life.

Yes, extra curricular activities should be made compulsory in schools. Studying is not the only think that helps you in life. When we set out to live life on our own terms, we face many difficulties that are so very related to what we can learn from extra curricular activities. You learn the importance of time management, team work, mental stability in crunch situations, and most importantly you learn about your limits which is of utmost importance if you are to succeed in life. So, I would prefer co-curricular activities should be made compulsory school.

It is said that "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy". Well, a healthy mind will never reside in a body that does only mental work. I indeed, feel that extra-curricular activities must be made compulsory in school.

1) It will provide a relief from the tiresome continuous lecture classes.

2) It will unveil the hidden talents of many students, who might have earlier not been able to show them because of lack of a suitable platform.

3) It will assist in making the students apply their knowledge, as they need to understand that application of their knowledge is very essential. For example, if a student X scores highest in the class in English Literature (by mugging up answers), but cannot write even a single paragraph error-free, then what is the use of his education?

4) The students would learn many moral values like cooperation, team work, patience, etc. Because such things can never be taught by lectures: they are learned when a student personally participates in such events.

5) Moreover, if a student due to some reasons, cannot participate in one activity, he can participate in another activity; such arrangements must be available in school.

Thus in my opinion, every school must have a list of extra-curricular activities and it must be compulsory for every student to participate in at least 1 of his choice.
