Hello everyone.

In my view, Extracurricular activities play a major role in a children's personality development, confidence building and of course adding to his talent and these curricular activities not only benefit them in their schools but even in long terms. And also a few students might be hesitant to enrol in such activities for reasons concerned. A compulsory curricular activity will urge him to take part and eventually even he would be thankful for such move. Thankyou.

Extracurricular activities are those activities apart from studies that improve the physical as well as mental health of students. These activities can play a major role in generating the sportsmanship in students. Students can learn how to respect your opponent and other team members. Students can learn how to handle a situation so that a predicted result can be generated. For example in activities like cricket, football, students can learn how to change the strategy so that they can defeat another team. These activities can help in building the stamina of the students. Students can know each other deeply.

They can provide a platform so that students can refresh their mind and body after long hours of study. That's why extracurricular activities should be made compulsory in schools.

Hello,

Extracurricular activities make the students to be a good team player also makes them physically fit. Even there are few students they are lacking in education, but when it comes to sports or any other extra activities apart from class teaching they perform better. Knowledge should not be restricted in between the walls of the classroom, it must be open for everything.

I feel privileged to express my views on this topic and become a part of the discussion with everyone here.

Extra curricular or Co-Scholastic (based on Latin word 'scholasticus' means "devote one's leisure to learning") activities has become an integral part of our Education system and everyday life. These activities teach the very essence, why human beings are called superior than other animals. We often find solace in doing activities which not only help us connect to our interests but also boosts our all round development as Citizens of Future. In fact taking short breaks from studies to pursue our interests helps improve concentration and learning power because of stimulation of brain cells and 'happy' hormones.

Schools play a very vital role in developing a little child into a responsible citizen of the country. Children should be given opportunities to participate and engage in various co scholastic activities, to name a few debates, games and sports, cultural activities, social and ecological activities and suchlike. These help foster the developmental process of children into adults.

Participation of students and encouragement of teachers and parents on this aspect of co scholastic activities (not sidelining scholastics obviously) should not be merely to gain marks but lessons to treasure throughout life.

Thanks for the patient reading.

Have a good day !

Yes. ECA should be made compulsory in schools. Every students may not be able to show good ranks in studies. But that student who is not good in studies may be good in Eca. So that they can show their talent in every department. Sports can help students to improve their strength, ability to be positive. They will learn from their failures. Giving speeches, organizing events can help a student to improve their self confidence and stage fear will not be there for them. In this way there are so many advantages from extra curricular activities.

Yes. Extracurricular activities should be made compulsory in school as these events give an excellent opportunity to every student to bring out the hidden talent in students. As we can also observe that, many students are not interested in studies, but show more interest in these curricular activities and decide to make a career in it, and there are so many "live" examples of it.

Hi, Everyone!

Yes, Extracurricular activities should be made compulsory in school. Extracurricular activities will promote one's individuality and uniqueness from others and schools play a major role in developing a student's character. By these activities, students can find interest in a field other than academics and will also improve their skills. Extra-curricular activities are like a break to students from studies where they can relax both there body and mind. By these activities, they can the world better. So, I believe that extra curricular activities should be made compulsory in school.

Thank you.

Yes, this should be made compulsory because today we see that everyone is busy in study and they have a very burden. On the name of extra curricular activity they played video games. Then how their mind devlop for another thing and they have no time for any activity because they spend their all time in studies because they have pressure about that secure good marks in exams, this is good but if they doesnt take part in any extra curiculler activity then their mind will not prepare for other thing because I think if student give attention only in study then they get depressed because their mind convert according to that while if they take part in extra curriculler activity then they feel freshly and also their mind and they also choose that what they want in future means in which field they have intrest.
