Good day, before commenting let me start with a proverb, we can't draw pictures without walls. Without protecting our ecology a sustainable economic growth is impossible. Nowadays we all are suffering due to unpredictable climate, water scarcity and lack of food. If we are not ready to make a compromise between ecology and economical growth it will lead us into a disaster. So both economy and ecology should be considered for a better future. Thank you.

Hi everyone!

Almost everyone made me agree upon the give more priority upon Ecological growth.

Let me present some of the facts against it maybe it will hard for you to support me. But it is a must for a better discussion.

Who said the Economical growth can lead to ecological degradation? Even we have TEA, JUTE and Sugarcane industries which contribute the maximum to the country economy. You can say India is one of the major exporters of there. And there are eco-friendly and providing millions of jobs keeping the fertility of the lands.

Even the automobile industries are focusing upon the quality of exhaust system. You might be well aware of the updates in rules regarding the BS system. An Industry isn't simply set up, but it has to undergo many procedures upon the land they are considering and wastes they are discharging into the environment.

Keeping aside the money for a moment, for being into the race of this advancing technologies we have to have Many industries in our country.

If we are considering Economic for the country we must be selfish enough to prove our country at its best in every aspect (Nuclear, engineering, automobiles as well as farming).

Most of you have said about the doing the ecological growth to considered more. I would rather suggest focussing more on Economic growth in a proper way and we must believe if we provide lands enough for nature it will take care of the diversities it is required to withstand the situation.

Thank you.

Both the words contain Eco in them. This means that there is a relation between both.

Economy is an asset which is meant for country's development.

Ecology is an aspect in which country should develop.

Both should be together.

Lastly, a country with economic growth but ecological downfall is like a ship without a radar.

Let's not make a critical choice between Economic growth and Ecological protection. It's like making a choice between your left and right eye. In my opinion, both are equally important and should supplement each other rather than contradiction. We need quality air, open field, parks, gardens, ponds. At the same time, we require good living standard which is achievable by economic growth. So we need to make a balance between both. We need to take care of surroundings and our pocket as well.

I think there must be optimal balance between economic growth and ecology. INDIA as a developing country must need economic growth. If there is no economy how the country will be developed.

But for these we need resources, which are provided by the ecosystem. So there must be balance between these two.

As of my perspective, economic growth and ecological growth should go hand in hand. Economic growth improves living standards of the people while ecological growth gives healthy living standards. Human is also part of ecology so ecology development also leads to human development. Ecological destruction has also effect on economic growth. Ecology is an inseparable part of economic development. Thus, such a development called the sustainable development.

According to me, having an economic growth is not a one day process but it is a continuous process. For this, we need sustainable development i.e Using resources in such a way that it fulfills a current need without compromising the future needs. Without taking care of the ecological system, the economic growth is next to impossible. We get food, water, resources, air everything from the ecosystem. Any sort of infrastructure or currency can not provide these things. So ecological protection is more important than economic growth.

Economic growth is not more important than ecological protection. This environment is the everything we need to live. Money is made by human we can recreate it anytime in the very period. But the environment is not created by a human it is like fossil fuel once it has gone it cannot be replaced. We can create money but we can't create an environment so killing or damaging environment for economic growth is not a good idea. But both can take place simultaneously.

I believe ecological protection is the foremost thing which each one of us should considere. Nowadays we are neglecting our environment which will eventually gonna hit us back in future. If our ecology is protected then we may work on our economic growth. But if ecological growth is neglected then it will affect human health hence effecting economic growth.

Hello everyone,

In my point of view, ecological growth is more important than economic growth because most of the resource we are getting only from nature. Ex: water, air, mine etc. Nowadays the power generation units are using water & air as the main resource without these the companies cannot produce electricity and these resources mainly depend on nature. The main thing is we are breathing only because of nature if we want to grow economically we need to alive first. So, my conclusion is Economic growth is completely depends on ecological growth.
