Economic growth is more important than Ecological protection

No, Economical growth is not more important than Ecological growth, because what we need to live a good environment, pure water and good atmosphere.

As of my perspective, economic growth and ecological growth should go hand in hand. Economic growth improves living standards of the people while ecological growth gives healthy living standards. Human is also part of ecology so ecology development also leads to human development. Ecological destruction has also effect on economic growth. Ecology is an inseparable part of economic development. Thus, such a development called the sustainable development.

For example, the solar industry has employed over 500,000 people in the last few years. In the same time period, the coal industry has produced less than 100,000 permanent jobs.

New technologies such as hybrid and electric cars provide much more opportunity for economic and environmental growth than all non-sustainable transit technologies using only fossil fuels and less efficient, more polluting means of transportation using only the internal combustion engine to burn gas.

The same is true for every technology that uses renewable energy instead of dirty fossil fuels. The economy grows more, less resources are used, the environment is saved and more energy efficient products are produced for the good of society.

Therefore, it's really a false question. Economic growth ONLY TRULY happens when sustainable technologies are used, which promote both environmental growth AND environmental protections.

I want to partage my notions, In economic growth and ecological protection both are important at their own places. We can't succeed without economic growth. Economic growth brings prosperity and peace in our life. It simplifies our life. But it should not be done without caring our ecosystem.

Because our ecosystem is equally important to us. It maintains a balance between different forms of lives. Therefore, we should grow without harming the ecosystem. This is called sustainable development. To achieve this, we can use non-conventional sources of energy such as wind energy, solar energy, nuclear energy. They don't harm the ecosystem and also fulfil the power needs of the humans.

We can switch to electric vehicles such as an electric car, bike, train etc.
