Hi there! I with all my experience, strongly advocate that e-learning is an add-on tool for the students or learners. Without an able guidance from the learned professors, one cannot pursue the studies on one's own. Recently, in past 1 year, I have been hearing that one Hyderabad based e-learning software company has developed engineering e-learning content for various branches of engineering. I hear from some of those pursuing their engineering saying that the content is too good - but! they still need their professor to explain something there. Hence, no content whatsoever can replace a teacher or lecturer or a professor.

Though e learning is good. It helps in exploration, creative thinking, and helps in gaining the deeper knowledge about the subject with the best advantage of 24*7 facility of available anywhere anytime. But then also I won't support it to substitute with classroom lectures given by mentors.
If I think from economic point of view then India is not a rich or developed country like USA it is developing country where people are employed in different fields with minimum salaries. So if we will totally introduce e learning then it will result in reduction in the employment and per capita income which is generating through them.

I think classroom learning is the first part of our life and after that e-learning. Being a human we have 6 sense and one most important sense is touch sense, this sense helps us to remember things like any answer of a question for a better way and for a long time, and this writing environment only can create in classroom, but the major disadvantages of classroom learning is that most of the schools (their teachers) using chowk and duster which is very harmful to teachers and students too. So finally I conclude that classroom learning is for lower standard students and e-learning is for higher standard students.
Thank you.
Thank you.

Hi, as per my point of view, I think classroom teaching is always better as, we know most of the humans get lazy when it comes to studying and so if we go for e-learning, we may think that we can do it anytime, leave lets to do something else, I'll do it afterwards, but in classroom teaching we always have a specific time-table which we have to follow, so we don't have any option and we will study seriously, if teacher will give some homework we will definitely do it, as we have fear in mind, so I'll prefer classroom teaching in combination with e-learning. E-learning is good sometimes but not always.

It is a scientific fact that our brain catches and learns from videos and presentations to a greater extent than a regulator black-board studies. I can give my example that whenever there is problem in understanding something or want to speed up my learning, I prefer online contents. Major part of my studies is video tutorials. If Everything is going online, so why not we use them!Even NCERT has started an app E-pathshala which provides students all NCERT books and tutorial, they even not need to buy books. In nutshell, E-learning can be new emerging and brilliant change in education and learning.

E learning is a very good substitute for classroom learning as it provides a wide platform to those who cannot afford much and it gives opportunity to learn better to everyone. And also E-learning is more useful to rural areas than urban because so as to get good and efficient knowledge students have to move from there home town far away sometimes high school education is also not available in some rural areas.
If our government is ready to provide such facilities in rural areas then problem of teacher will also get solve aromatically as no teacher is interested to come to live in rural areas.

In my viewpoint, e-learning has positive and negative attribute both. Positive is that through this e-learning requirement of good, the knowledgeable faculty is less because one teacher can teach many students through the internet. Lack of good teacher is a major issue for India. Which can be fulfilled by the e-learning. NPTEL is one of the initiatives taken by the IISc and IITs.
Negative point is- In e-learning, the teacher is not aware of the level of student as in classroom program. For e-learning, the student uses a laptop, smartphone etc. Which causes more distraction towards social media.

I agree with all the points but E-Learning also have advantages. In classroom learning we learn whatever the teacher will teach but E-Learning helps you to know the subject more deeply. Internet is obviously more update than any person.
E-Learning can be self paced or instructor led. Good education is available only in cites. E-Learning can help villagers to gather proper knowledge. If we think about cyber classroom then there teaching will conducted by E-Learning but under the hands instructor. Hence E-Learning is beneficial but under the supervision of good instructor it will b magic.

E- learning and classroom study are two different things but both have their own advantages, if classroom have very good environment then we can learn more and more from the faculty and can discuss with member of classroom which is very beneficial to learn but if the faculty is not well in clearing the doubt of students then it is not good.
E-learning is very beneficial for those who want to study but they are busy in life and work as a employer in any firm it is less time consuming for that. But in E-learning we don't have an environment for discus with friend and asking doubt if any.
