In my opinion E-learning is good at certain things and rubbish at others. Firstly, we won't get the human touch that is required for a student to learn such as behavior, attitude, practical knowledge about how things have to be done.

Secondly, it purely based on the retention of knowledge by the student for example if you tell me something by email I will forget easily but if you show me practically then I may retain it for long.

E-learning is not for everyone because adults have different learning capability than students and its purely based on the learning style of people. So what I think is e-learning can not be a substitute for classroom learning but if we merge both the areas we can make our education far more better and advanced than earlier.

Hi everybody,

I think e-learning can boost the classroom learning of student. However classroom environment and practical interaction with teacher and friends are more important factors for classroom learning as compare to e-learning.

Having said that I also want to mention e-learning is can be astonishingly fruitful if provided in planned manner. On one hand classroom learning ensures discipline and proper interaction of student, on the other hand e-learning can be a tool to ease the basic understanding of the context.

Simply e-learning makes student learn by doing, failing and redoing an assignment. There are some beautiful sites which elaborates simple concepts of science and social science that makes student learn it FAST AND CORRECT.

Hello everyone,

I really support this idea that e-learning is a good substitute for classroom learning, since the students who live poles apart from good institutions face problems for transportation which is also time consuming. So, e-learning can convert this travelling time into study time. One of the biggest advantages of e-learning is that the phenomenal concepts can be visualized into motion which prove to provide a better understanding among students. It is also beneficial for the teachers because sometimes they too find it challenging to explain and make students understand some hard concepts that require deep imagination. But e-learning makes it simple. Hence e-learning is a better substitute for classroom learning.

Thanks!

Hai guys.

Thank you for sharing valuable matter about e-learning. In my point of view E- learning or virtual learning takes a key role in our life. It wills help to known different topics at a time while watching or reading, so nowadays classrooms also become digital classes. Because human minds are imagination minds. We can easily grasp while watching. We can learn everywhere and learn different words to improvise our communication.

But e-learning is a major defect for kids, scientists said that under age 10 kids have high grasping power. If kids start E-learning at this age it effects their mind, and also lost thinking attitude,

Anyway it will more helpful, and our future depend on it.

Thank you for giving this opportunity.

According to me, classroom learning is best. Classroom learning creates a different environment of learning. Maintains a great bond between teachers and students where you can clear your doubts on the spot and can learn more through other students, their doubts, their thinking way etc. In classroom learning, you can learn communication skills, teamwork etc which will help you in future when you will work in the corporate world. Classroom learning makes you active to be part of different activities whereas e-learning makes you lazy.

Even in rural areas or poor children can't afford mobiles and laptops. So e-learning is difficult in that case also.

So, according to me, classroom learning is the best way of learning.

Hi guys,

I am Priyaz Aajith.

I would life to share about this topic. My point of you e-learning is best because you have to gather more and more information. If you any doubt just searching and getting the information with in second but class room learning the teachers study the books and some points remember in mind the class that point only saying. The student also learning that points only. No need for this in this study. Class room learning only use for village areas that place only not knowing
e-learning and not sources in system process that time only using class room learning. Nowadays big institutions also using only e-learning because easily understand all datas. Thank you all.

Disadvantages:

-> Internet is not accessible everywhere.

-> It will reduce the employment opportunities as teachers will be replaced by computers.

-> There are pre-recorded lectures so doubt session is not taken simultaneously.

-> There are always some network connectivity problems. So e-learning can not be used as a substitute till free flow of network is ensured.

-> More electric power will be consumed as it is required for the operation of computers.

-> Practical knowledge can be imparted in lab and not online.

Advantages:

-> No need to go to schools or colleges. We can attend the classes while sitting at home.

-> 3-D images can be easily visualized.

E-learning is good or bad is dependent on the situation, that what is the scenario. If I say E-learning is not good then it will be wrong because as we see, that currently we are facing the Pandemic situation of COVID 19. All educational institutions are currently closed, so we are able to get knowledge via electronic mediums. So it all depends on the situation it's all up to you, how you see it.

But when it comes to comparison direct interaction is best, because we can discuss our queries directly to the teacher.

On a normal way, E-learning is like learning driving on phone.

Unless we don't learn it physically we will not able to drive it. It's simple is that.

Hai friends. In my point of view, the classroom teaching is the best way of teaching when compared to the extent learning. Because a can explain the subject in the manner of understanding of the lower class students also and he observes that all the students are able to understand or not then he changes the method of explanation. Then all are will gain good subject. And the teacher can explain in a useful manner to all stages of minds which are present in the classroom. That's why I am supporting the classroom teaching and my suggestion is that the e-learning with the presence of teacher's explanation is the best way to learn.

Thank you friends.

In my opinion, any well-developed technology cannot take the place of a teacher in a student's life. From childhood, it's our teachers who took care of us gave us basic knowledge, work hard with us. If in case smart board would have taught us that time we would have started calling your friend namely "Ajay" as "AJ" as per their pronunciation. It's good to have developments in education, learning methods and one must take full advantage of it but without forgetting our teachers. I know sometimes it is hard to understand what the teacher is teaching but on the hand, it is the teacher who keeps on motivating you to do well for your future.
