Hello friends, I think E-learning can't be a substitute of classroom learning. Because the main disadvantage of e-learning is that it affects your personality. You can't talk to your teacher and friends face to face. It makes you an introvert. And also you can't clear your doubt properly. Sometimes the network problem is there. And the environment of study which we get in the classroom that we can't get anywhere. In school, we are in a discipline not in the home.

Good morning friends,

Online learning is just one type of distance learning that takes place across distance and not in a traditional classroom.

It provides location independence saving time and low cost. One can work and read both as one's necessity.

Students will get social isolation and not get any chance of oral communication skills. For e-learning you have to incure computer, web camera, reliable internate and others.

Thank you.

I would like to point out the demerits of the e-learning to the KG and lower primary students. These kids easily get distracted and won't concentrate on e-classes without support from parents. The parents have to teach the entire things even if they attend the classes.

For higher studies and the graduate student s this is going to bring changes in education. Students will more be attracted to the merits such as flexibility, access to the premier institutions, well qualified, famous teachers. The technologically supported contents will bring more colours to the education system.

E-learning is just the perfect add on to classroom learning fo effective understanding and better application-level approaches, more than being a substitute by itself to classroom education. Hence without leaving out the necessary social interactions and activities that classroom teaching bring out to students, e-learning could be used as a tool to invoke their curiosity and indulge in their topics of interest with even more passion.

Hi,

As we all know everything has pros and cons.

Benefits of E-learning:

1) Through animations children will get to learn concepts in a better way.
2) Children can number of times go through the lecture and revise again.
3) E-learning gives flexibility. If any time we miss the class for any reason we can go there and can listen to whatever taught in the class.

Disadvantages of E-learning.

1) Not everywhere there is high-speed internet connectivity which makes a difficult situation to attend the class.
2) Continuously using laptop or mobile for the class will definitely put a strain in our eyes.
3) Every parent does not know how to use this kind of platform.
4) In class you can interact with other of your classmates and by physical presence make lecture lively otherwise it will become sometimes too boring to listen.
5) While attending class there is a high possibility of getting distracted by other social sites.
E-learning is much useful for us. It is easy to learn in our home or any places. By using this we can learn any languages and also can write the exams, it is very apt for modern life because it reduces the transport and time schedule problem to job people. Even though it has many advantages, it will not become classroom learning. Why because we think classroom learning as practical.

Basically E-learning; in a layman language is acquiring knowledge or skills via the digital medium. Every subject has its pros and cons. If we take a look towards the positive side of the subject, E-Learning is a developmental opportunity. It helps a student to continue his learning even today in such a pandemic condition. It provides him with an opportunity to acquire education via online mode from international universities sitting at his place; It helps him to attend seminars, conferences, events taking place worldwide. From a narrow perspective, it helps a person to attend the lectures via home which reduces his travelling time, Even if he misses the lecture he can view it afterwards, Online e-education is feasible and affordable.

Now if we have a look towards cons-.

Classroom learning helps to increase your soft skills and improves your personality by having a conversation with your mentors and colleagues. It helps uh in clearing your doubts immediately. Also, a face to face interaction increases your level of understanding.

No, absolutely not but e-learning is one only substitution in the current situation of COVID-19. First of all, in India internet do not reach every place, secondly, a huge amount of students don not have a smartphone, thirdly in a remote area of India do not have electricity so those students who are poor they are can't reach higher studies or did not able compleated their education so India will miss hudge amount of educated human resource. But if classroom learning and e-learning merged with each other then we get a better result. Those two methods can not substitute or complement each other but we need two methods simultaneously, then we get a far better result. So, we need classroom digital learning these things will produce a better result for students.

E-learning is good or bad is dependent on the situation, that what is the scenario. If I say E-learning is not good then it will be wrong because as we see, that currently we are facing the Pandemic situation of COVID 19. All educational institutions are currently closed, so we are able to get knowledge via electronic mediums. So it all depends on the situation it's all up to you, how you see it.

But when it comes to comparison direct interaction is best, because we can discuss our queries directly to the teacher.

On a normal way, E-learning is like learning driving on phone.

Unless we don't learn it physically we will not able to drive it. It's simple is that.

Greetings everyone,

In my opinion, E-learning cannot replace classroom teaching, though it is a very productive method of learning.

The most crucial part of student life is to learn good communicating skills, discipline in life, social interaction and an optimistic attitude. These qualities can only be achieved when there is a live interaction between the student and the teacher.

In classroom learning there is always a positive competition in the class, students can clarify their doubts on the spot.

Teacher plays a great role in personality development, they bring the best out of every student.

Not only this, the most nostalgic part of everyone's life is their school life, which will never happen in E-learning.

E-learning has a very strong advantage that it is flexible towards timings according to your schedule and pace, one can upgrade their knowledge, it has less expense, learning and teaching is possible from any part of the world.

One remarkable advantage E-learning is that, if your concept is not cleared, you can see that part of the lecture/video as many times as you want and the lecture can also be saved in the device, which gives you the access to go through it whenever you want.

Cons of E-learning:

1. It is not accessible to financially unstable people.
2. It can cause strain in eyes, it damages eyesight.
3. It cannot develop social and soft skills.
4. It is distracting sometimes because one can surf through other social media apps.
5. Doubt cannot be cleared at the time it has struck in mind.
