Most of the women create their own placement in every field that means finally what I am telling, Women can handle the problems in every field then why can't handle the small organization and Kalpana Chawla? Its a joke right, because the last time I checked she was no manager or entrepreneur, and why would you call her a legend because she is a women or because she is an Indian, or because she died in a space shuttle crash, meant no this respect.
If she's a legend what would you say about Neil Armstrong (First man to moon) or Yuri Gagarin (First man to outer space). And for the record there were 5 men and 2 women's in Columbia (5>2).

Women are always good managers. Because she need to look her parents, husband's parents, husband, siblings, children, if cattle's its too. If she got a job she is capable of managing it too. So women are the good managers. Behind the success of every man there is a women.

Very happy to see these sort of answers, but I think it would be injustice with women only if we say that they are better manager, they can do each and everything if given a CHANCE to prove themselves. There are number of ladies in my life whom I admire and seen them working so hard and they manage everything with so ease. That possibly men can't even think of it.

By looking at people like Kiran Bedi, Indira Gandhi, Sheila Dikshit who have managed the people so well we cannot deny the fact that women can't be good managers. Moreover what I believe is that nothing is impossible, if someone has the ability and if he/she works hard for it then he/she will surely achieve it.
So becoming a manager totally depends upon the qualities a person posses and the hard work done by him/her but not on the gender of that person.

Hey everyone,
The topic itself brings out a separation between the gender. Everyone has the capacity to do all sort of work. It never varies on seeing the gender. People come up with the chances they get. When chances provided everyone can become a good manager.
I would conclude saying that work never varies based on gender, only on the chances and their capacity.

Yes I agree with the fact that women make good managers. But It would be inappropriate to discriminate talent on the basis of gender. Any one who posses the qualities like creativity, knowledge, commitment, versatility, discipline etc can become a good managers. But talking about the topic of our discussion I think women are way better than men in managing more than one stuff at a time.
You know back in ancient days men would go into the forest for hunt and the women used to do all the stuffs like taking care of kids, agriculture work, household chores etc. So It shows that women are better at managing things from those days.
Talking about the present scenario, Indra Nooyi, CEO of pepsico, Arundhati Bhattacharya, first women to be the chairperson of State Bank Of India, Chanda Kochhar, CEO of ICICI bank, Pratibhatai Patil, first women president of Independent India, Meira Kumar, first women speaker of Lok sabha. I think these are the best example to prove that women make good managers.

In my opinion either man or woman can be the good manager. It all depends on his/her mind set, ability, exposure to situations, communication etc. People just say that only men or women are good managers. It is because some situations made them think like that. No wrong in their opinions too.
People who support men are thinking that men are good managers because til now many reputed, goodwill earned companies have only men as CEO's, top level managers. So basing on this they concluded that men are good managers. People supporting women because they manage home, family, office etc. men cannot do that.
But I won't support only men or only women. Because to be good managers first chance is to be given to prove that they are the good managers. If women are employed in top position in companies they will prove them selves and they have proved it. Men can also be good house managers and they are even doing that so today every woman can go and work.
Finally both men and women will be the good managers but the only thing is chance should be given to prove themselves.
